Mystery Man POV

I sat at the coffee shop with Aurora. It took me a while for her to let go of Valerio but it was worth it in the end. I got her to worship the very ground I walk on. That's exactly where I need her for everything to come into play now. She has turned out to be quite an asset and I respected her for her skills. "Darling, now it's time to get your revenge on Valerio and Meera." I said. She smiled at me and said "I've got my man on to it. Valerio left work just now according to my source. He'll never make it home alive. I assure you. Now, what about the rest?" I held her hand and said "Charles too won't survive the night. I'll make sure of it."

Meera's POV

It's been two years since the wedding. Val and I finally talked about starting a family six months ago. He took over dad's business and has been doing extremely well. I was five months along and was happily running around the house doing all the work. Liana and Claire meet me every time I'm in London, which is frequently. I let go of my position at Webb Inc. but have been actively involved in the company's proceedings because of my relationship with both the Morettis and Webbs. Charles and Martha have been visiting Milan for every holiday now that even Claire moved to Milan. I still haven't heard from Mark but that was turning out to be okay. I have  let go of the hope that I would see him someday. Today was special. It was our second anniversary. Val was supposed to come home early since I planned a surprise for him. I heard my phone ring and went to pick it up. I saw the caller ID and it was an unknown number. I answered with a frown on my face. "Am I speaking to Mrs. Moretti?" Asked the person. "Yes." I replied as I started descending down the stairs. "Ma'am, we are extremely sorry to inform you that your husband got into a major accident. By the time we retrieved the car, it was too late. He suffered from major trauma to the head..." I didn't hear the rest. My feet gave away and I came tumbling down the stairs.

Charles's POV

My heart was pounding when I heard the news from Piero. Valerio met with an accident and was declared brain dead upon arriving at the hospital. But my worst fear was realized when Meera tumbled down the stairs. The servants found her lying in a pool of blood and immediately took her to the hospital. She survived injuries to her head and limbs but that wasn't what concerned me. She lost her baby in the process. Knowing Meera, she would be devastated losing both her husband and her child in one night. I wanted to be there when she opened her eyes. I didn't have the time to inform anyone about this. I didn't want Martha and Claire with me because it would be difficult to handle all the women at once. I wanted to bring the situation slightly under control before letting anyone know about this. I arrived at the airport and boarded my private jet. Once I was in air, I paced around the cabin due to restlessness. I heard a huge blast coming from the backside which removed a chunk of the plane with it. I was sucked out of the plane with full force. At that moment, my whole family flashed in front of my eyes as I plummeted to my death.

Mark's POV

I was at work when my phone rang. Without even looking at the caller ID, I picked up the phone. I could hear a woman cry over the phone. I looked at the caller ID and saw that it was mum. I went on high alert and asked her what happened. She asked me to turn on the TV. When I did, my whole world came crashing down.

Meera's POV

I was in the hospital room when I woke up. I was wearing a gown and I didn't understand why I was dressed that way. Everything came crashing back to me. When I was about to get off the bed, I felt stabbing pain in my stomach. The doctor immediately came to my side and stopped me from moving about. "You just had a miscarriage Mrs. Moretti. I would suggest that you take some rest because you're in no position to move around." Said the doctor. Tears started pooling in my eyes but I remembered something else. Valerio was in a car crash. I immediately looked for my phone and thankfully found it right beside me. I called up dad and asked him where he was. He told me he was with Val right now. I was a little relieved that I didn't have to travel outside the hospital. I asked for directions and immediately went up to where Val was located. I desperately wanted to see Val right now. We lost our child but I was more worried about him right now. I was hopeful on seeing Piero but my hope was thwarted when he didn't respond to me. He told me that Val was brain dead. I didn't know what that exactly meant so I grabbed hold to the doctor and asked him for details. He told me that my Val would never wake up again. He was gone. His brain stopped functioning. The doctor asked me if he had permission to switch off the artificial breathing machine. I nodded my head mutely because I knew he couldn't be saved. My phone rang again. This time, I heard of Charles's death. I didn't shed even a single tear and walked out of the building numbly. I didn't know where I was headed but I knew I had to get away.
