Jennie:
I looked out my window of the private jet to see nothing but white puffy clouds and the bright moon shining. I can't help but think of the others as they're back in Seoul, knowing they're in danger.
"Don't worry about him too much. He know's how to take care of himself" I heard someone say from behind me.
I turned around and saw that it was Jimin.
"It's not just him I'm worried about. I'm worried about all of them," I said as I let out a sigh as I pulled my attention away from the window and made my way to sit next to Jimin.
I looked around and saw that everyone was fast asleep including BigBang.
"Well like I said. They know how to take care of themselves," Jimin said with a small smile as he set a hand on my knee to try and comfort me.
I returned his smile before something popped into my head.
"Hey, Jimin? Can I ask you something?"
"Sure anything," He says as he takes my hands in his.
"How did you end up getting in this? I can tell that this wasn't your original idea to be caught up in all of this. You don't seem like the type to willingly hurt people," I said as I could tell that his demeanor changed from relaxed to tense.
"Look Jennie, a lot of us who are in this has a dark past that we either try to run away from or had to embrace at some point. I'm the one who is trying to run away from it. I'm still trying to run away from it," He said as he looked into my eyes with a serious expression."Are you willing to tell me?" I asked, hoping that he would trust me with what happened in his past.
"It happened when I was thirteen. My mom recently just left me with my dad who was an abusive alcoholic druggie. He wasn't always like that. He was actually very successful. He owned a few major music companies, casinos, hotel, amusement parks, and a couple restaurant and small cafes. What my mom and I didn't know was how he got the money to start a lot of those businesses. Like the idiot he was, he was getting the money from loan sharks, knowing that he had to pay back that money at a certain point. It wasn't long after he became successful and he had a name for himself when the loan shark came asking for the money back. With him thinking that he was all high and mighty that he denied them that he took money from them; not knowing exactly what they were capable of. Slowly month after month, he realized that his businesses weren't doing as great as the last. It wasn't until all of his businesses had filed bankrupt by an unknown source, making the bank take everything from my family," Jimin said as he looked out the window of the jet.
"I'm sorry-"
"That wasn't the worst part. Like I said it started when I was thirteen. Slowly, after his business failing, my dad started to turn to alcohol and drugs for comfort instead of his family. Not long after that, he started abusing my mom and selling her body to other men for money. It wasn't long after that my mom had enough and decided to leave in the middle of the night. The next morning, my dad came into my room telling me that it was my fault that she left and started beating me up. Every day for the past two and a half years it would happen. As soon as I got home from school it would start. There were times where I would be in the bathroom sitting in the bathtub wanting to drown myself, taking myself away from the life that I lived in, but somehow I couldn't bring myself to do it. During my junior year, that's when I met Yoongi, Jin, Namjoon, Hoseok, and Jungkook. Yoongi and Hoseok just recently dropped out of school and I would always see Jin, Namjoon, and Jungkook at school hang out with each other. One day I was getting bullied out in the courtyard for being a 'nerd' which ended up with the guys beating me up. Honestly, I didn't want them to stop. I hoped that they would go far enough to actually kill me. At that point, I didn't want to live anymore. But Jin, Namjoon, and Jungkook jumped in and saved me. They took me to the nurses' office and stayed with me until school was done. After that, they brought me back to Yoongi's place where they asked him if I could join their group. At first, I was wondering what was going on until Hoseok pulled out a gun from behind him and aimed it at me. At the time I thought I was going to finally get what I wanted. To finally be free from the hell I was living every day. But instead, they had me join their gang. That was actually the last time I went back home. Every day, they would teach me how to stand up for myself and fight. When they thought that I was ready, we all headed back to the house that was like a living hell for me. We walked into the house to see my dad drunk and high on the couch. Just the mere sight of him made my blood boil. Once he saw me, he said how he thought I was dead or wish how I was dead. Just listening to what he said made my blood boil even more. I didn't wait for him to say anything else. I started punching him, kicking him. I didn't want to stop. When I thought that he was going to pass out, I stopped and started to torture him slowly. I pulled out his fingernails one by one, broke his fingers, torched his skin, etc. When I was getting bored listening to him scream, I shot him in the head, instantly killing him. That was my first kill ever. When I went back to school, I was a whole different person. Everyone when from making fun of me and picking on me to not wanting to piss me off," Jimin said as he took his gaze away from the window down to his lap.
"Jimin...-"
"The reason why I say that I'm running away from my past is that I hate talking about it. I hate what kind of person I've become because of it. When I killed my dad I didn't feel anything. I didn't feel bad nor did I want to cry about it. I felt numb inside. No one in the gang knows about my past except Golden and BTS," He said finally looking up at me with tears threatening to escape.
