*Major Disclaimer: There will be some very hard conversations in this chapter. If you guys have a really soft spot for abortions, abuse (women and child), language, etc. I suggest skipping that part of the chapter. It will start once Jennie's dad makes an appearance*

Jennie:
As Namjoon drove both of us to the hotel where the dinner was going to take place, we kept quiet for a while until I decided to break it.
"So... how did you manage to know Yoongi?" I asked.
"Jennie, look, we've known each other for a few months now, you don't need to try to come up with topics to fill the air. You can just talk to me normally," Namjoon said as he glanced over at me with that smile that always brings out his cute little dimple.
"Okay then. How did you manage to know Yoongi and get involved with Empire?" I asked more specifically.
"Wow, when I told you to talk to me normally, you don't beat around the bush do you?" He asked with a little chuckle.
"I'm just trying to learn about you guys more. That's all," I said looking down at my hands that were resting on my lap.
"Who did you ask so far?" He asked me.
"Jimin, Hoseok, Jungkook, and Jin," I stated as I looked to face his side profile.
"Jin and Jungkook didn't tell you their full stories that's for sure. Hoseok and Jimin can't help but be truthful about how they got into this mess. They're the most vulnerable about their past and still has a hard time coping with it. Jin just doesn't like talking about it and Jungkook just wants to forget all about it," Namjoon explained with his eyes not leaving the road.
"What about you? Was your past bad enough that you would want to forget all about it?" I asked still looking at his side profile.
"I grow from it. I mean yeah, my past was pretty bad, but I would rather learn from it than to bury it in my sorrows," He explained.
"Are you sure that you're not the oldest of Bangtan?" I teased which made him let out a little chuckle.
"How about this. I get the guys to tell you their stories one day. Even Yoongi," He said as he gave me a quick glance.
"I think I know Yoongi's story by now," I said with a little chuckle as I shook my head.
"Trust me, you don't even know half of his story. He changed a lot from when the two of you were kids, Jennie," He said with a serious voice.
With just that little piece of information, that got me thinking of how well I actually know the person that I've grown to love within the few months that I've been apart of Empire.
"Alright, princess. You ready for this?" Namjoon asked as he pulled me out of my thoughts.
I gave him a slight nod before he got out of the car to walk to my side to open the door for me. He held out his hand out towards me to help me out of the car, which I gratefully took.
"Alright, once we get in there, don't talk to anyone and stay by my side until we find Koji. You don't want to draw any unwanted attention," Namjoon softly said as we start making our way towards the entrance of the hotel.
"Jennie, I forgot to ask you when you guys were back here," I heard Yoongi say through the earpiece.
"What is it?" I answered back.
"How's your Japanese?" He asked me with a slightly worried tone.
"Sore wa kanari yo kotodesu," I spoke fluently.
"What?" He asked a bit frustrated that he didn't really understand me.
"It's good," I deadpanned as I rolled my eyes at no one in particular.
"Alright, let's get this asshole," Namjoon said as we walked through the entrance of the hotel and was met by a beautifully decorated room.
