He wrapped his arm around my waist and I looked up at him, feeling my pupils dilate. Although he was a stranger, it seemed like I was in love. He was tall and muscular, with eyes so piercing blue they captured me in their essence. I instantly fell in love with the feeling of his hands against me.
We danced and he was great at it. You could tell I was so swoon by the lopsided smile on my face. Then we had a couple more shots and went straight to the suite he had rented upstairs.
We were already half naked by the time we made to the actual bed but that didn't matter. He wasted no time in ripping the little clothing that covered my body and throwing it to the side as our world exploded in a mass of lust and passion. It was safe to say it was some of the best sex I'd ever had.
I mean he had a metal arm. Talk about absolutely fucking sexy.
The next morning I woke up and he was gone. I'll admit, I was a little heartbroken but understood. To me, he was just a little more special but to him I was just another one-night stand. I got up, my head feeling heavy but some pills of Advil I'd slipped into my purse did the trick, as I gathered my clothes and exited.
A few weeks later, I awoke in the middle of the night having diabolical stomach cramps, and only minutes later I was retching and gagging everywhere as I puked my guts out. Nausea and exhaustion took over my body and I fell limp against the toilet bowl, sinking against the bathroom wall and falling asleep there.
Another month of constant nausea went by and I couldn't bare to look at myself in the mirror. Was I getting fat? My thighs felt bigger and my stomach was insanely hard and grew into a thick bump. A scary thought hit my head and I tried my best to make it go away but alas, the adult in me took over and I made a doctors appointment.
By the end of my appointment, what I'd first feared had become a reality. I was pregnant. And I knew exactly who the father was.
As I thought back I realized that we hadn't used protection and he was my first hookup in months. It only made sense.
I remembered nothing about him except the little things. The fact that his eyes held smaller specks of gold. That the left side of his mouth lifted higher than the right when he smiled. The way his feet could catch onto any beat and swing with it.
And only one name.
Bucky.
That was what he'd breathed out when I asked him what he went by. The name still often caught onto my lips when I spoke about him but I pushed it back, too afraid to bring it up.
I searched everywhere for him. I looked through every possible document I could come across. But nothing seemed to match. Nothing in the old books, nothing in the new. So after 4 hard years of searching, I gave up.
I got a job at a local embassy so I could start taking care of my child, our child and flash forward to a few months later, my beautiful daughter gets an admission into one of the most prestigious schools of the country. Her name is Bella and she is my only purpose in life.
She inherited my (Y/H/C) locks and strong chin but got her eyes from her father. They were the most blue I'd ever seen, but instead of gold specks, they held a slight tingle of green, just like my mother.
So there I was, walking back to my apartment from the store down the street, the bags swinging in my hands as my 4 y/o skipped beside me in her Olaf sandals. I jingled my keys out of my pocket and unlocked the door, releasing a deep breath as I set the groceries down on to the floor.
"Mommy, who's the big man?" I heard her say to me and I spun onto my heel, picking up a knife from the counter for defense. The person stepped out of the shadows, his hands up in defense.
