I walked into the center field of the Nevermore camp, running my fingers through the tall uncut grass that hasn't been touched for months.

The camp's buildings were in ruin, I myself have only been here once or twice over the last few months, I wanted to live here after Tony was dealt with, but my new found duty as a Spy, as a Protector to the people of Guardpost seemed to have taken priority.

Carts and wagons were flopped over, the contents long since have been stolen by thieves or animals.

"Wow" Daniel gasped from behind me.

I was ashamed and angry, Nevermore was once a beautiful paradise, a safe place for the unwanted, and a death place for the deadly. We kept the woods safe from thieves, the various Bullisk clan battles, Portal Jumpers and even the Guard post's military, but now it was just a pile of rubble. A mess.

What would my mother think?

I barely knew her, only really from stories did I get a good idea of the person she was. Would she be ashamed of me? She built this place from the ground, kept all the people safe, led this place and ontop of all that raised me alone.

My father, from what I heard never made it here, according to my mothers stories my father died sacrificing himself in the Battle for Fallen. Tyler has spoken about it countless times in the last few months, he would go on and on about how Max and the others took back what belonged to them. None of them knew that my father was some kind of hero, the one responsible for the lives of the Portal Jumpers, they'd kill me if they found out most likely.

Well all but Tyler.

Daniel walked up behind me, and placed a hand on my shoulder.

"I'm sure it looked great" Daniel tried to reassure me.

"Yeah, Daniel don't sugar coat it, its awful" I started. "And the worst part of it is, this was my fault!" I puffed marching into a large dark steel building at Nevermore's center.

This building was where my mother use to live when the village was just starting, this was where I was born. Now this is where people go to honor my mother.

The inside of this two story high one room building was hollow, it was only one ground level and the ceiling was high up.

There was a large paining of my mother at the opposite end of the room, I always found this place a little creepy, it seemed more like a prayer room or a shrine.

Dozens of long ago burned out candles and dead flowers were around the painting of my beautiful mother.

"Natasha Moon, Leader, Mother, Inspiration to all, you will never be forgotten" I heard Daniel read out loud as he looked at the words inscribed under my mothers painting.

"She seemed like a lovely woman" Daniel smiled.

I nodded.

"Yeah, I've heard she was the best" I spoke, a few tears falling down the side of my face.

Daniel and the other Spies knew about my mother, that she was the leader of Nevermore and that she was dead. While they knew that my mother was Natasha Moon, I wasn't about to tell them about my father, since that wasn't exactly common knowledge.

All of this was just annoying me, I wish my all knowing mother was here to point me in the right direction, but above all I wish Thaila was here to guide me. She always had my back since we were little kids, we we're best friend for many years, her combat focus and technical planning was simlair to that of John's which made her a natural leader.
