Hey guys! I hope you enjoy this chapter! I'm not sure how soon this book will end, but I know how I want to do it. I will decide later on if there will be a sequel, especially if y'all want one. Comment and let me know. In the meantime, if you'd like you can check out my other story, Heavenly. I'd really appreciate it, thanks!© 2018, ItsLillieBro

Hailey
I felt bad for leaving things with Chase the way I had, but I knew it needed to be done to stress the fact he couldn't treat me that way.
I may have over-reacted, or maybe I hadn't, I wasn't sure.
I just knew I would never give anyone the power Josh and my father had over me in the past. I would never be put in that position ever again.
I had stormed out of Chase's house and straight into mine and Olivia's. I packed my bag and disappeared before she saw me. I took a cab to the airport and waited to board my plane. While I waited I could see a familiar face headed my way. I audibly groaned, not ready for the conversation I was about to have. Olivia's head bobbed through the crowd.
I tried to stand up and fade into the crowd, but she noticed me.
"Hailey! You better stop right there!" she yelled.
I cringed and froze, as I knew she'd find me no matter what. I also didn't want to deal with her making a big scene. I slowly turned to face her, dreading the lecture she was about to give me.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" she exasperated, throwing her hands up.
I narrowed my eyes at her and said, "I'm sorry, do you expect to run my life as well? I thought I made it clear when we had all those conversations about 'mates' that I did not want someone, anyone, controlling my life again!"
She rolled her eyes and said, "Okay, seriously? Chase just doesn't want you going halfway across the country, around your psychotic abusive ex might I add, by yourself. That is not the same thing."
I shook my head and said, "You just don't get it, Olivia. I have to do this, I need answers about my life. This is something I have to do for myself. Both of my parents are dead and it's not like they told me anything when they were alive. She might have some information on my family. Information on my mother who I never really got the chance to know. Not to mention why Dr. Wells found werewolf DNA in my blood. I need to know what the chances are of me being able to communicate and connect with you guys," I sighed deeply before continuing, "I just need answers."
She gave me a slight smile, as she began to understand what I was talking about. She walked over to the seats I had been in before and patted the chair next to her. I joined her.
"I get it. And I get why you are so reluctant towards Chase at times, but part of it is because you can't feel what he feels. Especially since he hasn't marked you. You can't begin to understand the type of self-control that takes from a male wolf. Although, when you get back he'll probably hunt you down and mark you before you get out of the car after you've gone across the US without it and him," she exaggerated with a slight chuckle, but we both knew she wasn't exaggerating much.
"I know, and I feel bad it's just, I don't even know how to describe it. I just know that sometimes he does stuff that makes me think of Josh and the way he controlled me and I vowed to never go back to that, ever. I don't want to be spoken to that way or treated that way again. I want to know my opinion is valued and that my wants and needs matter too," I stopped, putting my hands up as Olivia opened her mouth.
