"I'm really glad you're back," Evie sweetly said as she hugged my neck.

"Yeah, we missed you and bubba was so sad," Brooklyn said as she hugged me from the other side.

"Thank you girls, I'm glad to see you. Are you excited about Halloween?" I asked them, trying to get the subject off of me being taken.

They were planning on being different Disney characters and they were so excited.

"Yes! I am going to be Olaf from frozen!" Evie said.

I laughed and thought it was adorable that she would rather be the snowman than the princess or the queen.

"Because she's a weirdo. I am going to be Queen Elsa," Brooklyn said.

"Hey, both of those costumes are great. Let's be nice alright?" Shelby said as she entered the room, "Thank you for keeping them company, Chase asked for you to meet him in his office at the packhouse."

I nodded and thanked her before telling them all goodbye and leaving. When I reached his office I gently knocked on the door.

"Come in," Chase said, sounding perkier than I expected him to be this late in the day.

"You seem happy," I said as I entered with a smile.

"I smelled you and it made my day about a million days better," he said as he stood up to embrace me.

"Your mom said you wanted me?" I asked.

"Yeah, what are we going to do about this wedding?" he asked.

I had almost forgotten we weren't even married yet. At this point, I wasn't even sure if I saw the point of having a wedding.

"I don't even know if I see the point in it anymore, not the marriage, but the wedding," I said sadly while looking away from him.

He gently grabbed my chin and lifted it to meet his eyes and said, "I will do whatever you want, however, I don't want you to let everything that has happened take your happiness away. You were so excited about it, don't let all the drama ruin it."

I thought for a minute and realized he was right. My entire life all I wanted was to be my own person, make my own choices, and while I didn't want to have to depend on anyone again I did still dream of the fairytale. That included a wedding, as much as I hated to sound like a little girl, I wanted a wedding with Chase.

"You're right, but I don't want anything-"

"Extravagant, I know. That's your motto," he said with a laugh.

I joined him with a shrug, "It's true. I want the fancy dress, don't get me wrong, and I understand the pack has to be there but I just want simple. We don't even have to have a party afterward."

"Oh the pack would be so disappointed if we didn't, besides the party is for them, we get to sneak off and go enjoy our honeymoon," he said with a smirk as he neared my lips.
