Chapter 12 : With a fluttering heart, I'm looking at you

I'm alone with her. Really? Wow..should I ask her something..? What should I say? I should tell her all the best for hosting. Yes right I should say that.

The door was closing once again and he was on the verge of uttering something when he heard.

"Can you make some space?"

"Huh?" The duo said in unison

Before they could react much, two men started pushing a troly with 2 big speakers on it into the elevator. The two top stars were pushed in the corner of the elevator.

Jin had his back towards Irene and thought to himself.

I won't get a chance like this again. Say something. Now.

And he suddenly turned around, now facing her directly.

The sudden turn and the close proximity between them made their hearts beat fast.

Calm down joohyun-a.

She coaxed herself and then heard.

"Thanks"

"Huh?"

"For the COMPLIMENT that day" He whispered.

"Oh" she said it casually but quickly realizing what her COMPLIMENT was that day.

"Yeah that...Yeah hmm"

The second floor was reached and the two guys started pulling the troly out. The edges of the speaker were extremely close to arms. So just as the they started pulled the troly out, Jin instinctively put his hand close her arm so that the speaker won't scratch the slim arms of the female idol. He maintained a little distance between his palm and the arm of the girl.

A simple gesture made Irene face red and she could even feel blood rushing to her face. When the troly was out the duo distanced themselves from each other. The door of the elevator closed once again leaving them alone.

"All the best for hosting tonight. I know you'll be great."

He gave an extreme reassuring smile which made Irene to think "Why does he have so much confidence on me?" and she could not stop her from asking the same.

"Really? How do you know?"

"You shine the most on the stage"

Irene was shocked. It was not because she hasn't heard someone tell her these kind of words before. But the way he said it felt so comforting. Her heart skipped a beat and her face had a crimson shade on it.

How can his words be so soothing? With only one line it feels like all my worries are gone.

"Thanks" she muttered.

"Moreover people with beautiful faces like ours shouldn't feel nervous" Jin said with a smirk on his face.

Irene could not help but chuckle. This was Jin's speciality unlike other who are down to earth about their appearance, he is someone who appreciates his visuals. His confidence while complementing his "worldwide handsome face" makes everyone laugh which in turn makes him happy.

A visual replied to another visual with full force.

"You're right. No matter what happen I'll always be the prettiest."

Jin had an 'Wow I'm impressed look on his face.' But before they could continue the elevator opened. She gave him a simple smile and said

"I'll see you later"

Irene was out of the elevator with him still standing inside. The doors were almost closed and he put a hand on side of the it to prevent it from closing and literally shouted.
