Just one incident changed their lives. It wasn't big but in the eyes of the netizens, it was first time in the history of kpop idols.

Standing a little away from the actual set of shooting Irene looked really nervous. She was fidgeting and was switching her gaze between the direction of the set and Jin.
"I think I should withdraw" She said while holding her breath.
"What so you mean withdraw? Your company will never let that happen." Jin raised his eyebrows
"I'll convince them. First let's go somewhere else." Irene pulled the arm of the boy as if to lead him in the opposite direction.
However, the little power in her hands were not enough to pull the boy who was not only way more taller than her but also heavier. Jin who had not even moved an inch raised both of his hands and cupped the delicate face of the female idol.
"Joohyuna...you can do this. Remember what I told you in the cafe. You need to believe in yourself."
"......" Irene kept her silence remembering the talk they had in the cafe.
"Go now. You've been away for more than an hour. Your manager will most probably kill you before you could actually shoot."
His words actually bought a smile to her face because it was true. She's been away without informing anyone and that too without her own phone. This kind of behavior is not something that is taken lightly in her company.
Irene looked at the boy who had nothing but his pure positiveness in his eyes. She rose of her feets and hooked both of her arms around his neck and hugged the boy.
"Thank you" She said in a low voice which was almost like a whisper.
Her two words actually carried a lot of emotions. If it was not for the boy, Irene might have been still crying in that alley. Jin didn't reply but he silently patted her head. The coupled pulled back from each other but were still in close proximity of each other.
Irene leaned in and pecked the boy on his lips or where she believed his lips were as their mouth were still covered with masks. The kiss with two mask between their lips still left a sweet feeling in both of their hearts.
"Are you seducing me so that I won't let you go?" Jin asked in an flirtatious voice.
"Me seducing you? Huh? You wish. It was just my way of saying thank you." These dramatic lines were accompanied by equally dramatic hair flip by her.
"You say thank you like this to all people?"
Jin was actually bending as to get his face closer to the girl.
"Only a few"
"I'm Happy that I make it to that list. Now gooo....you already need to do a lot of explaining to everyone"
He pushed her and starting waving his hands. Irene walked to the set which was few minutes away from them. Her anxiety level was rising with each step. She really didn't know how to explain to her manager and to the whole crew about her absence. She thought about lying by making excuses but in the end she decided it's better to be honest.
Honesty with a little bit of information changed and withheld.
However, when she reached there everyone in the crew acted really normal. She was missing for an hour and thought the first reaction of everyone would be excited or atleast relieved. But ti her dismay everyone just bowed to her and continued their work or quietly passed by her. She easily managed to reach her vanity and saw her manager who had lost all the colors on his face.
The make up artist saw her first and shouted informing everyone about her presence.
"She's back. Look she's back" The excited women almost knocked out the guy sitting beside her.
Her manager ran towards her and as expected bombarded her with questions.
"Where were you? Are you okay? Did something happen? Where did you go?"
"I....met a friend"
"Friend..are you serious? Huh? You left without informing because you met a friend? I'll be informing the company head about this...it's a solo commercial and you can't take things seriously..? Do you know how worried we were? We even contacted your teammates thinking maybe you said something to them."
The manager was really angry and he has never raised his voice this much on her. But again she never did something wrong to be scolded this badly.
"Oppa I'm really so-"
"Keep your apologies for the company's management"
In her whole career Irene was only once scolded by the management which was regarding puking on Jin. She was scared but she realised that it was her own mistake which actually deserved a scolding.
She kept her head down not having any intentions to look in the manager's furious eyes and said in a really low voice --
"I should first apologize to the director and crew as well. They must have also been waiting."
"There's no need for that"
"Huh?" Irene finally raised her head.
"After you went missing the assistant director came and asked if we have a problem with pausing the shoot as the director is not feeling well. And since YOU have been missing I agreed"
Not feeling well my ass. He was shouting way louder than even you on his assistant.
"By the way what have you done with your face? It looks so dull. You get your make up done again. I'll talk with them to renew the shoot."
The manager exited the vanity and Irene also went to see her phone. There were quite a few missed calls from his manager before he actually discovered that she didn't take her phone with her. However, another thing that caught her eye was that there was also a message from Jin.
You are the best. And i know that you are gonna amaze everyone today. I believe in you. Bae Joohyun Fighting ♡

Okayy so regarding the last update. I did a little digging and I found out that the person has actually read my story and has even voted on it. So now it's even harder to believe that it's a coincidence. I looked for ways to prevent someone from reading my story but there is none and even the private chapter option is disabled.
I don't want to say anything about that person's story but I read it multiple times and it still seems like my basic ideas have been picked up.
But I will continue writing because this is just a fun activity for me. Initially I searched for a Jinrene fanfic but there were really few last year and most of them seemed unrealistic and slightly cringy to me. So I decided that I should write my own. I'll try not to take it seriously that someone is getting "inspired" by my work.
