The girls celebrated their leader's birthday in her hotel room and even did a Vlive for their Reveluvs. However, Irene was really anxious throughout the live thinking about whether to go out with Jin or not. Earlier after she messaged him her hotel name, the boy asked her to meet him outside the hotel at 1 o'clock.
Even though Irene understood that the boy maybe wants to spend time with her since it was her birthday, she was still quite apprehensive to go out with him after midnight. It was not because she didn't want to spend her birthday with him rather it was actually the opposite. They rarely meet because of their busy schedule and spending her birthday with him would be great but if someone saw them together in Japan it would turn into a scandal in seconds.

Around 12:40 Irene finally gathered the courage and sneaked out of her room. Now that the girls are not sharing a hotel room atleast she didn't have to lie to them. She specifically chose very casual white tshirt and blue jeans paired them with sneakers. She even wore her baseball cap to hide her face.
The female idol sneaked out of the hotel and went to a 24×7 store nearby to wait of the boy. Irene has never really done anything like this before. She was worried as well as excited. It was already passed 1 o'clock and the boy was no where to be seen.
He didn't forget right? Ahhhhhh come fast.
Irene was looking at all the cabs which were passing by to spot the boy and suddenly a car stopped right in front of her. She kept looking at the back seat as she was sure that the boy would hire a cab. But to her surprise the windows rolled down and there he was in the driver's seat looking at her.
"Get in" Jin stretched forward and opened the passenger's seat door from the inside.
Why is he stressed so nicely?
This was the first thing that came to her mind when she saw the boy. He was wearing a black leather jacket which accentuated his broad shoulders even more. Rather than saying greeting the girl asked the out of the ordinary thing in front of her.
"Why are you wearing sunglasses at night?"
"I'm a celebrity. What if someone recognizes my handsome face?"
This time Irene didn't even roll her eyes because truly the boy was looking really handsome. With his hair combed backwards and the forehead exposed he was looking like a character straight out of a manga.
However, she was waiting for him to wish her happy birthday which he still haven't said to her. The twiddling action of her thumbs together clearly indicated her longing for his wish. Instead she actually realised that the boy doesn't even remember what day it is.
"Are you angry with me?" The boy asked in a concerned tone.
"No. I'm fine."
The puffed up cheeks and no eye contact with the boy was actually conveying the opposite of her words.
It's my birthday and you haven't even wished me till now. And you are asking if I'm angry.?
"Really? You dont look fine at all. Are you not well?"
"I told you I'm fine and by the way who's car is this?"
"I rented it. It is better than to take a cab."
Irene was staring at the boy still waiting for him to realise about her birthday but to her disappointment Jin didn't notice her gaze at all.
"Where are we going?" The tone of her voice was getting angrier with each sentence.
"Nowhere in particular. I thought we'll just hang out for some time"
"Okay."
I ended my vlive early, pushed the girl to their rooms, dressed up for you and then sneaked out my hotel for the first time just so I could spend my birthday with you and you don't even remember.
Irene didn't utter a word and turned her head towards the window and closed her eyes. She was actually really tired today because of the shooting which was stretched till the evening.
She didn't realisewhen she fell asleep. It was only due to an abrupt break that woke her up suddenly.
"Ohh I'm sorry. Go back to sleep. I was driving carefully but the driver in front of us stopped suddenly"
"For how long did I sleep?" Irene yawned after waking up.
"Not that long. Around 40 minutes I think."
40 minutes. Wow I slept for 40 minutes.
Irene looked out of the window and saw that they were almost out of the city to an not so populated area.
"Why do I sleep so peacefully around you?"
Irene was genuinely bewildered about of her sleeping capacity around the boy. She is the kind of person who always keeps her guards up around everyone and this guard of hers is even higher around men.
"Its my aura. It creates a relaxing environment"
Irene only smiled to these strangely comforting words of the boy.
Even though he forgot about her birthday, he was still the same guy that she's been crushing on every single day even after being in a relationship for almost 3 months. The same boy who looked so genuinely sorry right now for waking her from her sleep. Irene rationalized that maybe he doesn't remember because he himself is really busy person.
How could you even make me forgive you about not knowing my birthday so easily especially when you didn't even say sorry.?
Irene kept staring at the boy who was looking extraordinarily handsome today. He was driving casually but looked too hot for the girl to be angry at him.
"I dont think you remember but actually today is.."
The car stopped at the sideways and Jin pulled an eyes mask from the back seat.
"Wear it" They boy handed her the eye mask.
"Huh?"
Irene started at the mask that is in her hands and finally understood what is happening. With one of his hand behind the head rest of the passenger's seat the boy was looking at her fondly.
"So you do remember that today is." The sulky voice of the female idol was now replaced with an peppy tone.
"Is..29th march 2018. The day Bae Joohyun was born and blessed the whole korea with her beauty."
"Only korea?" Irene raised eyebrows.
The boy ended up laughing. He took the eye mask from her hands and himself covered her eyes with it.
"Let's discuss everything when we reach there"
