It's been a while since the couple last met each other in person. The truth was that they were always busy with their group schedule. Even when one of them did have free time, the other was not available. Their schedule were always clashing and it was nearly impossible to even talk on the phone as they were mostly in different countries having different time zones.

Since they last met on Irene birthday at the end of March, Red Velvet has finished their Solo concert Red Room in Japan and went ahead with their first fan meeting in Chicago. It was the first solo performance from a female K-pop group in the United States since 2016. Whereas BTS after the release of their Japanese albums released a nine-minute short film titled "Euphoria" which embodied an introduction to their next albums.

Moreover, May 2018 was really special for both the groups. BTS finally released their 4th full album LOVE YOURSELF: TEAR and sold over 2 Million physical and made records in a number of areas. They also became the first korean act to perform on BBMA making it their comeback stage and winning Top Social Artist award second time in a row.

Red Velvet on the other hand gained national recognition as they performed alongside other selected South Korean artists for an inter-Korean concert in Pyongyang, North Korea, making them the first girl group to do so.

It was finally June, Red Velvet was now preparing for their official Debut in Japan and BTS continued with the promotion of their newest album. And for the first time in a long while they were atleast in the same country. Making the best out of the situation they are in Jin messaged Irene asking her out to meet him.

"Are free today? Let's meet"

"I'm sorry I can't "

"Why? C'mon It's been so long"

"I know but I'm not free today. You're calling me just around a week prior to our album release. I've just reached home after shooting and I'm really tired right now."

Its was end of June and only few days were left before the release of their Japanese debut song Cookie Jar. Since the girl group was busy throughput May, all the preparation from recording to mv filming to all the photoshoots for the album was being done in June itself. With a week left the girls had still a lot of left to do.

"Do you think I'm not tired as well. Even I've just finished not only the promotion of our comeback but also filmed content for the group's anniversary"

Why is he being rude?

From the tone that Irene was guessing from the message she felt that the boy is angry with her. Keeping herself calm she decided to call him instead as the tone you receive from reading the message can he deceiving.

"Hello"

"Hey" The boy replied in an disinterested voice.

"Are you angry?"

"No. I'm disappointed"

"Why? I told you that I was busy throughout the day. I've just reached the home and I've an early schedule for tomorrow. How can you expect me to come?"

"Okayy. I understand that but I feel.." The boy stopped mid sentence making the girl feel irritated.

"Like what?" She asked

"Like it's always only me who want us to meet. You're always declining"

"I asked you to meet in the beginning of the month. Dont you remember?" Rather than calming him it was Irene who was getting angry now.

"How can I come at that time. I was in the middle of the promotion. How could you even expect to come at that time.?"

"Aren't you doing the same? You are asking me to meet you when even I've an album coming. Or do you think that our activities are not as important as yours. Huh?" The point of getting angry was reached and the female Idol was extremely annoyed.
