Chapter 25 : What have I done?

"Excuse me?" The female idol was completely bewildered by his comment.

"Are you dumb or just acting innocent?"

"Being high in seniority doesn't give you any right to talk to me like that."

Yeri was now feeling extremely insulted. She was glaring at him with only one thought in her mind.

'How dare he talk to me like that?'

"Oh really? So seniority give you right to do only that one action which that creep was doing?" Jungkook pointed towards the way in which their senior left indicating who he is referring to.

Yeri was actually shocked to hear such word for one of her favourite senior. And just like a fangirl she jumped on to defend her idol.

"Creep? Wow You really think you are better than everyone else right? Calling a senior a creep and calling a junior dumb. Such a good example you are. And by the way what was he doing anyways..? Huh?"

Jungkook rolled his eyes in disbelief.

'How can she be so oblivious to his actions? Is she that unaware about his reputation?"

Seeing how the girl stood up for that senior, he understood her ignorance to the topic. Therefore, he didn't even have any plans to educate her on it as well. Sighing while staring right at her face, he turned around to leave.

"No wait. tell me. Huh? Why are you leaving now.?" The girl stopped him by holding his arm and forcing him to face her. However, he kept quiet, not even looking at her face.

"Enlighten me. Or is that you dont have any excuse for your misbehavior?"

'Misbehaviour? I'm misbehaving with her?'
Jungkook turned his gaze towards the female idol in disbelief.

"I SAID TELL ME." The girl shouted in top of her lungs.

"HE WAS TRYING TO GRAB YOUR ASS."

The loud voice of the boy echoed in the empty hallway shocking the girl to the core. Even though she did felt uncomfortable with him for a moment but yeri was convinced that he was definitely not trying to grab her ass.

"You're such a low person. Lying to make yourself look better. No wonder people don't like you."

"Atleast my own fandom likes me. Something that you can never relate to. Huh?"

Jungkook sneered. Not being open to others completely were his low points which led to a lot of rumours making people not like him. However he realised within seconds about the intensity of what he has said.

However the words were spoken without any opportunity to take it back. What he said sledgeded a sword through her heart. Yeri always got a lot of hate most of which came from her own fandom. She was added to her group after the debut something that didn't go down well with a lot of the group fan.

"I..I...I'm..I didn't mean to..."

"Shut up."

"....."

Yeri turned around to leave. However the guilt in the boy wasn't subsided.

"Wait listen to me" The boy shouted as he turned her around once again by the wrist.

Yeri tried to push him away but the boy was keen on apologizing. And then

BAAAM

Not knowing what happened to her. She slapped him right across the face shocking not only the boy but also herself. And what came next was instant regret.

'Shit. Did I just slap him? How can I slap him?'

Staring at him with her eyes wide opened, she was contemplating her next move. But to her surprise the boy left without saying anything. The last expression on his face conveyed only shock rather than anger.

'I should apologize.'

Yeri turned around to run after the boy. But a voice halted her steps.

"Yeri.?"

It was Irene going back to the ceremony after the short and sweet interaction with her boyfriend.

"Unni..where were you? I was looking for you everywhere."

"I went to the bathroom. What are you doing here?"

"I was searching for you since you didn't come back for so long and then I met XX"

"Wait. You met who?"

"XX"

The expression on Irene face conveyed concern loudly.

"Here? Alone?"

"Yeah.?"

"He didn't do something to you right? He didn't touch you huh? Tell me did he touch you somewhere?"

Her gaze continues to sweep over her,  as if she’s checking her for injuries. Yeri was now understanding what the boy was referring to her before. Yet there was a big part of her which was hoping that he was wrong because if he wasn't then she made a huge mistake.

"No..ahh no he didn't do anything. We just talked."

"Why were you talking to the old pervert"

Listening to this all the hoped in her died as she realised how stupid her actions were before. However what came next was the denial.

"Unni why are you calling him that? He is so reputed. You are mistaken. He is....."

Not letting her complete. The older one smacked her over the head.

"Ouch"

"You Dumb girl. How can you be unaware about his reputation.? He flirts with EVERY female idol. And he even...touches them...inappropriately."

"Then why isn't any female idol has said something openly?"

"Which girl would go public with this kind of information. He is so big in the industry. You can't just mess with such low people."

Before anyone could say more, their manager came and shouted at the girls for being missing from the past 20 minutes. Irene quickly apologized on both of their behalf and made a lie on spot. Lying was something she was getting good at after being in a relationship. The two girls followed their manager to the main venue and Yeri had only one thought in her mind.

"What have I done? I'm so screwed"

It's been so long that I've written the last chapter thay I even forgot what name I gave to the senior. 🤦‍♀️
