Louis' POV

I woke up on my own for the first time in what seemed like forever. I sat up and looked around my room, noticing something was different. Oh right, its freaking pitch black outside. I groaned loudly I flopped down on the bed.

"Please go back to bed, please go back to bed." I murmured to myself as I shut my eyes closed tightly.

I buried my face in my pillow when I realized it wasn't going to work. I sat up and rubbed my eyes before getting out of bed. Of course on the first Saturday of the school year I wasn't going to sleep in late. I traced my fingers along the wall of the hallway once I slowly walked out of my room. I walked to the kitchen happily and started to make my favorite tea.

"What are you doing up?" A voice asked behind me. I jumped and breathed heavily before turning around.

"I could ask the same for you mom!" I said loudly as I started to calm down. My ears went flat against my head once I got scared. I sighed and ran a hand through my hair. "God you scared the shtuff out of me." I said laughing softly. My mom laughed with me and sat in a chair on the other side of the island.

"Shtuff?" She asked me smiling curiously. I blushed and shrugged.

"Its a weird word I made up. Shit and stuff mixed together so I wont get in trouble." I said quietly as I picked up a cup of my finished tea. I took a sip and turned back to my mom. My eyes grew eyes and my ears perked up when I saw the calla lilies sitting on the table. "What the?" I asked as I went up to them. I smiled widely as I carefully touched the tips of the beautiful purple flowers.

"Harry brought them over while you were sleeping." My mom said, happiness laced in her voice. I froze and looked at her. Harry brought these over? No, no, no Harry couldn't have. My mom must have gotten that wrong.

"W-ho brought them over?" I asked my eyes wide as my ears slowly hid in my hair again.

"Harry, sweetheart. I feel like we should invite him over for dinner tomorrow. He's been so amazing to you, we have to thank him." My mom said the exact thing I was expecting. Invite Harry over? The person who bullies me in school my mom wants to invite over for dinner. I think I might be sick.

"M-om no. I don't think he would like that. I-I mean he may be busy and he probably doesn't want to come over." I said nervously as I shook my head. I cant let Harry come anywhere near my house while I'm conscious. That's not happening. My mom looked at me confused.

"I thought you two were friends? Why wouldn't he enjoy coming over?" My mom asked. I gulped and shrugged as I avoided eye contact with her.

"W-e are. It's just, were not close f-riends." Lies. I lied right to my moms face. I couldn't really tell my mom I was being bullied by Harry, she might be a mom and want to go talk to him about it. I'm sure that's the last thing Harry and I want.

"Well we're inviting him over." She said in a firm voice. I groaned and shook my head.

"Cant we just send him a gift basket or something?" I pleading asked my mom. My moms eyes widened as she shook her head.

"Louis William Tomlinson we are not going to send a gift basket and that's final! You better not have this attitude by the time Harry comes over for dinner. I will be very embarrassed in you." My mom yelled at me. I looked at her in shock as she walked away from the kitchen and towards her bedroom. Moms always had to have the last and final word about things didn't they?
