The Dead Man Walking

(The next day)

"It was definitely him Janna. I saw him with my two eyes and he asked me to be his girlfriend." Star explained to Janna.

"Are sure Star? I mean you did say that you were seeing him last week." Janna replied.

"Yeah, but what if the whole time that I was seeing him it was actually him!" Star said.

"Hey guys." Jackie said walking beside them.

"Hey Jackie." They both replied.

"Star you know Marco is looking for you right?" A girl came up and told her.

"Uh excuse me." Star told her friends and walked the other way.

She almost walked past the library before seeing him sitting at a table drawing.

"Uh hey Marco." Star said awkwardly.

He didn't hear her because he was listening to loud music.

She tapped on his shoulder to get his attention.

He looked over, took his headphones out and said. "Hey."

"Hey." Star replied back.

"What's up?" He asked not remembering.

"Someone told you were looking for me." She reminded him.

"Oh right!" He replied remembering. 

"So what is it?" Star asked sitting down.

"About you being my girlfriend." He told her.

"Marco..." Star was gonna say, but stopped.

"Marco there you are!" Brittany yelled running over to him and pushed Star out of the way

"Hey!" Marco yelled standing up.

"What?" Brittany asked backing up.

"Don't touch Star!" He yelled at her and helped Star up.

"Why do you care? She's the reason you almost died."  Brittany stated.

"No it was my fault. She's my best friend!  And my..." He started saying.

"I'm his girlfriend!" Star finished grabbing his hand. 

Marco looked over at Star and they both shared a smile. 

"Whatever." Brittany said and rolled her eyes, then she stormed out as her minions followed.

"Are you serious? Or was it just to make Brittany leave?" He turned to her and asked after Brittany left.

"I'm serious." Star answered and smiled.

Outside of the library Oskar was standing there listening, then a frown grew on his face. 

(Later)

Star and Marco were walking to Star with their hands intertwined. 

They walked over to Star's house.

"Here we are." Marco said when they reached the front door/

"Yes we are." Star replied back smiling.

"Well see you tomorrow." Marco said and kissed Star.

After he turned around and left. 

When Star got inside she closed the door slowly, then leaned against it smiling and blushing 

(The next day)

Marco knocked on the door.

Star quickly opened it and shut it fast behind her.
