"But will you marry me?" He asked holding up the box with the ring.
"Marco..." Star said as tears started rolling down her face.
"Will you?" He asked again.
"Yes!" Star replied yelling.
Then Marco stood up and they hugged for a while.
(The weekend)
"We have a lot of planning to do." Janna told Star as they walked around the mall.
"No Janna we're not making a big deal about it. We're getting married in private, then leaving." Star explained.
"What do you mean by leaving?" Janna questioned.
"We're running away together. Away from everyone and this town." Star told her.
"What about me, Jackie, and even Oskar?" Janna asked a little disappointed.
"You guys can always come and visit." Star replied.
"Okay, but what did you tell your parents?" Janna asked.
"I.... Uh...." Star replied.
"Star! You didn't tell them?" Janna asked.
"What am I supposed to say? Hey Mom, Dad me and my boyfriend are getting married, then running away together and never coming back." Star said.
"Well..." Janna started.
"Well, well, well look who it is. The one and only Star Butterfly. Heard the news." Brittany said from behind them.
"Brittany what do you want? And what news?" Star asked.
"Nothing with you. And about you and Marco getting married." Brittany answered.
"Who told you?!" Star asked looking at Janna worried.
"What you think I didn't hear you two just talking?" Brittany replied asking.
"Listen Brittany you can't tell anyone." Star begged.
"And why exactly would I do what you want?" Brittany asked annoyed.
"Because we don't want anyone knowing." Star explained.
"Alright I'll keep you secret. If, you let me get one night out with Marco." Brittany said.
"Fine! Whatever." Star agreed.
"Cool. Bye girls." Brittany said in a sweet voice.
"Star why would you promise that?!" Janna asked.
"What was I supposed to do? I can't let her tell everyone." Star said.
(At Marco's house)
Star and Marco were sitting on his bed.
"I need you to go out with Brittany tonight." Star told him.
"Star why would I do that?" Marco questioned a little annoyed.
"Because she knows about us getting married and she said if you do this she won't tell anyone." Star explained.
"Star you believe that?" Marco asked.
"I have to. I want to have some faith that she won't tell anyone." Star responded.
"Okay fine I'll do it." Marco said rolling his eyes.
"Thank you." Star said and kissed him.
