Izaya x Shizuo ( DURARARA!!)

part 13

As Izaya laid there motionless all Shizuo could think about was how he should have noticed Izaya getting worse, how he should have done better how... "Shizuo. I need to talk to you for a minute" shinras words rang in the blonde's ears as he noded slowly but stood up to meet the underground doctor outside of Izaya's room.

" I'm gonna have to send him to a proper hospital" shinra said, rubbing his glasses and putting them back on to look at an agaped Shizuo.
" you know he doesn't like hospitals! He will never recover-"

"He ISN'T recovering now either. We tried to help but he refused our efforts and he is on deaths bed. You have to really consider your options that will be best for Izaya AND you as well." Shinra put a hand on Shizuo's shoulder and let it slip away as he walked away from Shizuo leaving him  with his thoughts.

"How can I help?" Shizuo thought to himself thinking of any way that will make Izaya better again.

He wanted to chase the flea. He wanted Izaya to be better again he wanted Izaya and him....

"And what?" Shizuo's mind raced. "What kind of relationship do I really want with the flea?" Shizuo sighed and walked back into Izaya's room to see that he had waken up but didnt move.

"Shizu...chan" izaya looked up at the tall blonde and reached a shaky hand towards him.

Shizuo grabbed it as soft as he could and sat down trying to hold back tears. " flea... I dont know what to do... you aren't getting better and The Doc suggested the hospital but..."

A calming hand reached up towards Shizuo's cheek. "Its ok... dont worry so much about me." Izaya tried to smile as reassuring as he could.

"Please tell me what to do" shizuo's tears started to fall down.

"I dont know... I just feel bad for putting you through all this." Izaya could feel his own tears start to form and drip down his pale skin.

" flea... i dont regret getting involved in your problems. I enjoyed talking to you, and learning more please flea... please get better so you can tell me more." Shizuo couldn't handle the emotions that he felt and full on cried in front of what was suppose to be his archenemy.

"Shizu-chan..." izaya couldnt believe that someone would cry over him like this. Never in his life time he thought people would actually care about him. Would actually put themselves out there to help him like what Shizuo is doing.

Izaya couldnt help but smile as his eyes slid close, losing consiousness once again but this time it felt different...

"Beep... beep... beeeeeeeeeeeee" shizuo looked up to see a limp Izaya and his heart monitor reading that his heart had stopped and for a second all Shizuo wanted to do was go with him.
