Hey guys! I know its been so so long since I updated but Happy Holidays and have a great New year!!
Shizuo and the Dr. Leeman stepped out of the room to talk. Shizuo didnt like leaving Izaya's side but the Doc reassured him and said it will only be few minutes.
So there they were right outside the Flea's door about to talk about something Shizuo wasn't even sure he would be comfortable talking about. He wasnt even sure if he had the answers the doc was looking for in the first place.
"How long has Izaya been like this?" Dr. Leeman asked calmly、his eyes bland.
"He had um... family issues and his pops.... his pops had a big hand when it comes to Izaya's body issues... um started in High School." Shizuo answered nervously 'damn I need a smoke' was all Shizuo could think as he felt his hand start to get gittery.
"I see. Well in that case I propose we bring him to the psychiatric ward-"
"No!! You dont understand doc the Flea would kill me if that happened."
Shizuo tried to convince Leeman he was serious with that statement but the Doc seemed unfazed.
"Shizuo、I have lived in this city for a long while. Ever since I was a little boy. Do you think I would not have knowledge of the infamous Information broker and the blonde bartender with super strength? I know Izaya is dangerous. I have seen patients be put in here because of him. I will not allow a person like that to roam around the hospital and have him leave as he pleases. That will not be good for him or the city."
Dr. Leeman looked away for a split second before looking at Shizuo's sunken head as if admitting defeat.
"Will I be able to visit him every day?" Shizuo asked、not even bothering to look up.
"Yes you can visit him. You might be the only other person who can help him at this point. Whatever your relationship is to him.. make sure to keep it a good one. He needs the emotional support right now more than ever."
Shizuo nodded as the doctor started to walk away.
"We will transport him tonight to room 4-101. Have a good day." Was all the doctor said before leaving again to go visit his other patients.
Shizuo nodded to himself and went back in the room to watch over Izaya.
"I promise Flea. We'll get you right back on your feet again even if it kills me ya hear? So dont give up yet."
