Chapter III •

As soon as I took a shower and I got ready, I went downstairs. I'm that nervous about meeting again with Minki that I'm not hungry. In the kitchen was everyone except from my grandmother and this scared me. I went in her room and she was looking at my grandfather's clothes. I think she misses him even if she's not telling us.
"Grandma, are you ok?" I said sitting on the bed.
"Yes. I want to burn some clothes because I don't have space for mine." She said hiding her face. She looks like she was crying.
"Grandma, it's ok if you miss grandpa." I said and I hugged her.
"Let's not talk about this. Your dad will leave soon. Go eat something. You don't want to miss the chance to meet that girl again." She said and smirked.
"You scare me!" I said as I left her room. I ate and I went to the car where my dad was searching for a CD with his favorite music.
"Good morning dad! Are you searching the CD?"
"Good morning! Yes. Have you seen it?"
"No. Actually yes!" I searched under my seat. My mom likes to put CDs in bags and the last time she put it under the seat. God knows why she did it.
"Thanks. Your mom is weird." He said jokingly and we both laughed.

As soon as I couldn't see my dad anymore I ran to the room 313. I was so nervous. When I was in front of the door, something changed. I didn't want to go there anymore. I had a bad feeling. I ignored it and I entered.
"Hey! Minki! Are you here? I'm Jonghyun...I hope you remember me." I said and looked around but I couldn't see her.
"I'm here and I remember you." She said and hugged me. This caught me off guard. I didn't expect a hug. And this thing with she/he is annoying. I'm saying 'she' but it feels wrong.
"What happened?! Why is blood all over your shirt?" I asked worried when I finally saw something.
"I had to do it...Don't be mad. We are friends right?" She said and started crying.
"Yes we are friends. But what have you done Minki?" I looked at his right hand and I could only see blood.
"I had to do it. Don't be mad. I killed a patient. She told me to do this!"
"Don't cry please. Who told you?"
"Lady Marie. She told me to kill a patient and eat his heart or she will be really mad. It's not ok to upset her trust me." She said and this freaked me out.
"You ate a heart?!" I snapped.
"Yes. I had to do it. Don't yell they will hear us! I can't do this anymore Jonghyun!" She said crying harder. That broke my heart. What does that mean? They treat her bad here?
"What you can't do anymore?"
"I can't bear it anymore! They say that I'm ill and there is nothing but these people haunt me! Every day and every night. They are here. They tell me to do bad things. Because of them I'm here now. No one believes me that they are real and they are here. I just can't handle this anymore. I want to go home." She said and cried again. I want to help her but I don't know how.
"Hey, hey stop crying! I believe you. I'm your only hope and your only friend and I believe you. I can't see them but I know that they are real. I'll try my best to help you." I said and she hugged me again.
"Thank you so much Jonghyun!"
While we were hugging a thought about something. It was the worst idea but I had to help her. It's the worst one because it's really hard to do it.
"Minki...I'll make you more beautiful than you are now and I will take you to my house."
"What?! I'm not beautiful?!" He said fake hurt.
"You are but you look like you were in a jail. I just need to add some makeup." I made her prettier and we went down. I have to call my dad and tell him that I will go with the bus at home.
"Hi dad!"
"Hi son! What's up?"
"I will go with the bus at home. And I will go now. I need to finish something."
"Ok. See you."
Ok now let's hope no one will see me with a pretty girl. I know how my neighbors are. They will start talking about it. My mom isn't home now and grandma knows about Minki so I don't have to worry.

"Here is my house. Before we go in I have to tell you the rules." I sounded like my dad witch is weird.
"Ok..."
"First you don't exit your room. Ok?"
"Ok." She assured me.
"Second you don't make any noises. You need to stay quiet. And third, if someone enters, you hide under the bed. Understood?"
"Yes. I will stay alone in a room?" She asked and I realized that I don't have any free rooms.
"No. You will stay with me. But you have to follow the rules."
"Ok, don't worry." If she will do what I told her everything will be fine. I just need to get her pills from somewhere. I will do this. I'm not worried.
"Don't be scared by my grandmother, ok? She can be difficult." I said and we went in the house.
"She knows about me?" She said a bit surprised.
"Yes. I can tell her everything."
"Jonghyun why haven't you tell me that your girlfriend is coming?!" My grandma said and kissed Minki on the cheek. She was so surprised that I laughed.
"Grandma she isn't my girlfriend. She is the psycho girl. I had to help her, I will explain you later." I said and she nodded. I grabbed Minki's hand and we went in my room.
"This is where we will stay?" She asked.
"Yes. We will sleep together. Tell me if you don't want. I can sleep on the floor too."
"No, no! It's ok. We can sleep together. I feel loved, I know it sounds weird but that's the truth." She said and smiled. We stayed on the bed and we talked about the things she sees. Soon she fell asleep. She is a boy but she's so pretty. I looked at her until I fell asleep too.
