Chapter X •

OH MY FUCKING GOD I HATE MYSELF! For a second it was quiet. Grandma wasn't that shocked...Minki was about to start crying...I looked at her and raised my eyebrow, telling her to stay quiet. She understood, I am surprised. All this thing happened in 5 seconds.
"JONGHYUN WHO IS THIS PRETTY GIRL?!"
"Um..."
"JUNSEO! COME HERE!"
Fuck she called dad. Minki it was a pleasure to meet you...I am more than sure that dad will notice she's one of the patients! I am dead! I want to cry what the fuck?!
"What happened?"
"Look at this pretty girl!"
"Jonghyun, is she your girlfriend?"
"Yes...Don't be mad, she got into a fight with her brother and I told her that she can stay here." This lie came so natural...I am proud.
"How can I be mad? Finally I can meet your girlfriend! And she's truly pretty...Good job son!"
"Thanks..."
Minki looked at me disgusted. I raised my eyebrow again telling her to lie. I hope she understood...If she didn't...We are dead. And grandma is too because she knew.
"Mom...What are you doing here?" My dad asked looking confused at my grandmother.
"I...I...I was giving her a dress..."
Wow grandma lying is my new aesthetic. Dad smiled and looked at Minki. She has to lie...I hope she is a good liar.
"Tell me sweetheart...What is your name?"
"My name is..."
I looked at her and I was saying a name. I hope she understood what I said.
"My name is Chaeyoung..."
Minki you are the best at reading on lips...I was feeling so heavy. But that feeling disappeared.
"Nice to meet you Chaeyoung. I am Jonghyun's father, Junseo."
They shook their hands.
"Did we met somewhere? I am pretty sure that I have seen you before."

"Maybe...At the supermarket?"
"Yeah possibly there."

"Wait a second..." My mom added. Should I be scared of what is she going to say?
"That's why you wanted to eat in your room? To bring her food?"
"Yes...Are you mad?"
"Oh my baby! How can I be mad? This is so cute!"
"I am going to sleep, I have work tomorrow." Said my dad smiling. He waved at us and went in his room.
"I should go to sleep too. Good night!"
"Good night grandma!"
I was looking at my mom now, hoping that she will leave too. She was smiling so creepy.
"I'll go to sleep. I have so many things to do tomorrow. Good night! Don't be too loud!"
"Mom!" Since when does she have a kinky mind? I closed the door and I looked at Minki.
"Are you upset? I can go back to the hospital if I make you uncomfortable..."
"No! You were amazing Minki! I didn't know you can lie! I am impressed!"
"Thanks...I had to lie when I was younger so maybe that's why I have experience..."
We laughed...She stopped and looked at me.
"You said I am your girlfriend...Should we act like boyfriend and girlfriend?"
I didn't expect that question...What should I say?
"We will act like that when my parents are around..."
"Ok...Good night..."
"Good night..."
