Chapter IX •

I waited for grandma to close her door and we went down together. I am still confused. Do I really love Minki? If grandma says I do then I do. She knows how love feels, she had a husband and kids and all that stuff. But what if she lied? She usually bullies me with that stuff.
"Finally you came! We need to ask you more questions!" My mom said while putting food in our plates. I am more that sure she's going to ask me about the fake girlfriend. Fuck it!
"What happened?" Asked my grandmother with a weird look that I haven't seen before. It was like she knew a part of the subject but she was still confused and scared. She looked at me and I looked at her. I shook my head telling her that it's nothing bad and we waited for my mom to speak.
"Let's eat." My dad said and started eating. It's like they avoid the subject and this is getting on my nerves. I want them to ask me about my nonexistent relationship and leave this fucking thing away. It's not important.
"Jonghyun, where does this girl live?"
When my mom asked that my grandma choked with salad. It was funny.
"Mom it looks like you know something..." My dad said looking at her.
"No I don't! I am shocked because Jonghyun has a girlfriend."
My mom looked at me. Where could this girl live?
"So where does she live?"
"In the...country side..."
"Where?!" My dad said shocked.
"In the country side." I said again this time more confident.
"I don't want you to be with this kind of girl!"
"Thank God! I don't like her!" They looked at me weird when I said that.
"Anymore! I don't like her anymore!" Fuck it was close. Now I don't have to lie about this.
"Great then! Let's eat!" Dad said with a happy look.
I am full. Now let's get this food to Minki.
"Can I finish eating in my room? Please."
"Ok."
Thank God they let me. Usually they don't and I have to wait for all of them to finish and go in their rooms or in the living room. After that I get the food and finally Minki can eat. Poor girl is waiting so long for the food.
"Minki!" I said opening the door.
"Food!"
"Don't act like you ate 3 days ago!"
"Sorry."
We both laughed and she started eating. After she finished I went down to wash the dishes because it was my turn. I hate when it's my turn to clean the house.
"Jonghyun!"
"AAAH! Grandma you scared me what the fuck?!"
"What girl?" She asked confused.
"They heard me talking with Minki and I had to lie that I have a girlfriend."
"Thank God they only heard you two!"
"Yes!"
"Is your room unlocked?"
"No, the key is in my pocket." As soon as I finished saying this she took the key and went in my room. I hope she's not torturing Minki again. I finished cleaning the dishes and I went up.
"God grandma! Why you like this much to dress up Minki?!"
"Because you were a boy and I couldn't do this on you!"
Why would I lie? She looks beautiful! I couldn't believe that a boy in a black dress, high heels and with makeup on could look better that a girl...
"Jonghyun?!" OH MY FUCKING GOD THIS IS MOM! I LEFT THE DOOR OPENED HOW DUMB CAN I BE?!
