Everybody that is born has another half known as their soulmate. There is a specific way to find that person and it is through the mark that you are born with. Those two people are destined for one another and that mark is what will bind them to one another. You must find that person before the bond will take effect. At least that is what Alina Lunt was always told when she was little.

Alina and two other people out there were a special case to this soulmate mark. She never understood, in her 16 years of life, why she was different. The other students in her class, except for her friends, would make fun of her and she just wanted it to stop. So, Alina went to her parents to see if they knew why she was a problem.

"Mom, Dad, is there something wrong with me?" she outright asked her parents.

"Honey, why would ask such a silly question?" her mother replied.

Alina's parents knew that this day would come when they would be questioned by her about her "problem." You see unlike every other child in Alina's class that had one soulmate mark, Alina was born with two soulmate marks. They never did know how to explain this to their daughter because there weren't really a lot of people that had her same situation. This was a very unique situation that would arise once every couple of generations.

Alina's father guided Alina by the shoulders and sat her down on the couch between her mother and himself. "Alina you are a unique individual and anybody that makes fun of you doesn't understand that," he explained.

"Your father is right, Sweetie. Just because you have two marks instead of one doesn't make you a problem. You are just going to be twice as loved as everyone else," Alina's mother responded with a twinkle in her eyes and the corners of her mouth turning upwards.

Alina looked down at her left wrist and forced a smile, "Thanks Mom and Dad. I love you both," she replied as she got up and left to her room.

When Alina got to her room she sat down on her bed, looked at her left wrist, and ran her fingers across the two long and wide dashes. The dashes were an inch and ½ long and ½-inch-wide, the top one was orange with a black W in the middle of it, and the bottom one was green with a black T in the middle of it. She sighed, and day dreamed about the day she would meet her soulmates.
