Alina sighed and finally asked, "Did you guys feel that surge through the room as well?"

Both men nodded while replying, "Yes."

"Did you guys also feel a warm sensation run up your arm and into your heart when your hands came into contact? I know that happened to me with both of you."

"Yeah, I did, and I felt it when I shook your hand as well. Do you think that means..." Tanner replied before being interrupted by Woods.

"What are you two going on about? What does it matter what we felt when our hands connected?"

"Woods don't you understand that this only happened between us? When I shake other peoples' hands I don't feel a sensation going up my arm," explained Alina. Tanner stood there nodding in agreement with Alina. "What aren't you understanding about this situation?"

"Is there something that I should be understanding?" asked Woods with his brows furrowed.

Tanner released a huge breath, put his hands on his hips, and dropped his head. "Yeah actually there is something that you should be understanding with this situation. I get, Alina gets it, why don't you?"

"Tanner I called you up here to fix my computer, not to talk down to me. You are the employee and I suggest you do what I called you up here to do," scolded Woods before he turned to Alina. "And you, I called you up here to apologize about my behavior yesterday. Now I don't think I will since you want to treat me like I am stupid."

Alina stood there with her jaw dropped and wide eyes, "Wow, you really think that I am treating you like you are stupid? Tanner and I are just trying to explain to you what is going on since you don't understand it."

Tanner threw his hands up, "No don't drag me back into this. I am just here to fix his computer." Tanner pointed at Woods's monitor and walked towards the desk.

Alina ran over to Tanner, grabbed his hand, and pulled him back over to Woods, "We are having a conversation right now about this. I think we all should sit down here at the table and talk."

Woods and Tanner looked at each other and then hesitantly walked over to the table that Alina had already sat down at. The three of them looked at each other and then down at the table. Woods leaned back in his chair and started drumming his fingers on the table. Tanner started to play with his hands while glancing around the office. Alina just looked back and forth between the two men.

"Really! You guys are going to make me start this conversation?" she asked.

"You wanted this conversation, so talk," Woods responded flourishing his hand back and forth.

Alina rolled her eyes and started her explanation, "What we felt with the sensations and the surge was our soulmate marks binding us together. My parents told me all about soulmate marks and how they work. When you meet your soulmate and make skin-on-skin contact with them you feel a sensation run through your arm and to your heart. Normally though you feel the surge right after because people are only meant to have one soulmate."

"So, what I am getting out of this is that I have you and him as my soulmates?" asked Woods.

"Yes, that is exactly what I am saying," Alina replied while pulling up her sleeve. "If you guys pull up your sleeves you will see that our marks are glowing and somewhat match the others."

Tanner and Woods rolled up their sleeves and all three of them laid their arms on the table. They all saw their marks glowing and each of them had one mark that was similar to one another. Alina was ecstatic when she saw the boys' marks and Tanner was happy to see that he finally found his soulmates. Woods wasn't the happiest person though and that was because of one thing, Tanner. Woods was not happy that he had another man as his soulmate, he wanted two women. He saw how happy Alina and Tanner were about this discovery and didn't understand why they were so happy about this.

"No...no there is no way that I have a man as my soulmate," said Woods.

"What is your problem? Aren't you happy you found your soulmates?" asked Alina.

"I'm happy I found you, but I didn't sign up for a male soulmate," Woods explained.

Alina gave Woods a disgusted look and stood from the table, "You don't sign up for soulmates you jerk!" Alina turned to Tanner and grabbed his hand, "Come on Tanner, it will just be the two of us until our other mate decides to pull his head out of his ass." Alina was saying that as she walked out of the room with Tanner.

Woods sat there with his face in his hands mumbling, "Why do I have to ruin everything."
