Haunted

Chapter 7

I run back home using my magic to speed me there. I use this time to think about all of the events that just happened only seconds ago. Chris turns out to be a werewolf, what else can possibly happen? First i find out im a witch, i find out Alex is a warlock and now Chris is a werewolf? It all seems hard to believe, but I knew it was all real.

When i reach my room, I hear my grandma down stairs.

"Esther is that you up there?"

"Yea gran its me!"

I quickly fix my hair and pull out some school books to make myself look busy. She opens my door and smiles.

"Well this is a lovely surprise!"

I frown,"What?"

"I just..never actually see you doing your homework."

I laugh and embrace her in a hug, "Get some sleep gran. You worked hard all day."

She yawns,"I suppose your right. Good night Esther."

As she walks out she shuts the door and I breath a sigh of relief.

I wonder what tomorrow will bring?

The week went on normal and safe. I began to use my magic to pull pranks on some of the girls who thought were all that. Sometimes I'd make them trip or loose some of their hair. I even made embarassing things fall out of their purses! It made me and everyone else happy to see these girls finally go through what they put us outcasts through. But no one knew I was the one making it all happen.

Before i knew it, it was Friday. The bell had rung and everyone had scattered in the parking lot. I walk out of the school smiling as Katherine laughed at a prank I pulled on Jason.

For a long time Jason was my crush. But i learned that he would never notice me. He was always intrested in cheerleaders or girl jocks. I was nothing compared to them. But today i made him crash into a wall since I made the illusion of a door. No one knew about it of course, because only he can see it.

"That was hilarious!! I swear that will be all over his year book!" Katherine holds her stomach from laughing too much.

I giggle,"I know right! Someone should have got that on camera!"

We both laugh and walk down the steps but out of no where Ravenna grabs my wrist and pulls me faster down the stairs.

"what the-"

She interupts me,"We need to talk."

I nod,"Okay.....um....I'll see you later Katherine."

She waves,"Yea....see you."

I watch as Katherine walks to her car. Why was Ravenna leaving her out?

"Are you going to tell Katherine?"

But she doesnt answer, instead she pulls me behind someones car.

She pulls my sleeve down.

I shriek,"What are you doing?!!?"

She looks around and mutters,"You didnt tell me you got a tattoo!"

She pulls my sleeve down again. I dont bother to cover it up again. It was still there.

"Um...I got it a long time ago."

She hits my arm and i flinch.

"Ow! What was that for?!"

"Because i care! Why didnt you tell me or Katherine?"

I shrug,"sorry...i just thought you guys wouldnt approve...."
