Scott POV

As me and Stiles walked into the library I looked around to see if Allison was already there after what she'd figured out with the help of Lydia, she also said she discovered something else.

"Hey" I heard her say from the other side of the shelf. "This is what Lydia managed to translate and trust me she was confused" she said as I started to read what had been translated.

"What did you tell her?" I asked.

"I told her we were apart of an online gaming community that battles mythical creatures" she laughed. We talked more about what we'd do regarding Jackson being the kanima before she told us what else she found. "You told me that the night at the school my uncle Josh mentioned the name Jeremy Gilbert, right?" She asked so me and Ariles nodded confused. She fished through her bag and pulled out a extremely old looking journal handing it to me, me and Stiles started to look through it but it was completely empty. "Well I've shown this to a few people to see if they could read it after my uncle showed it to me and the only people that can read it are Josh and Lydia" she said and I looked up shocked. What was so speacial about those 2 that made them able to read it? "But when she told me what was in it she said it was the words of a crazy person and when I asked if she could give me a name guess what it was"

"Jeremy Gilbert" said Stiles and looking away from the blank pages to Allison who nodded in confirmation. "So who's this Jeremy guy?"

"I researched the name and I found this" she said giving us her tablet. It was a news article from Virginia about a kid who drove his car off the same bridge his parents drive off and drowned. He was called Jeremy Gilbert. "But when I looked into his sister I found that she's friends with my uncle Joshshe visited a while ago" she said so I screwed up my eyebrows.

"But I thought this thing was written like centuries ago?" I Said confused. Allison nodding taking her tablet back and showing us something else.

"This is also a news article about the discovery of a Tomb near the colosseum, the tomb of Jeremy Gilbert and his family that been hidden for two thousand years" she said and scrolling further down the page I got to a picture of a statue. "The one here" Allison said pointing to the statue and oh Jesus. "Is apparently Jeremy Gilbert"

"But he looks exactly like your uncle" said Stiles confused. We all shared a look before Stiles spoke again. "Look we need to see Deaton Josh said jay he has something that belongs to him but right now Scott you have a test to do so go" he said and I nodded givin Allison her tablet before leaving. "You think it's all connected?" I heard Stiles ask Allison as I walked away.

"I don't know what to think at this point"

-TIMESKIP-

After leaving Derek after telling him I'd help him me and Stiles made our way to see Deaton. "Deaton?" I asked as we entered the vets office. He looked up from some lapsed work he was doing as we came inside. "We need to ask you something's" I said as he let us past the gate. "About someone called Jeremy Gilbert" I Said and he looked to me shocked.

"The brother of the latest Petrova doppelgänger?" He asked and I shook my head putting the book and the tablet with the news articles on the table. Looking through the articles he seemed confused by when he opened the book his face dropped. "I suppose you'll want to know the story behind the book?" He said and me and Stiles both nodded.

"Why can only a few people read it?" Asked Stiles as Deaton closed the leather journal.

"2000 years ago was a man, many believed he was from a different world a gift from god. He had knowledge of the future and what it would hold, he was an extraordinary solider and he just appeared from nowhere" spoke Deaton. "He married and had children but then disppeared for a month or so before he returned and then he started to write this book" said Deaton patting the journal. "He then had it spelled. He knew that writing such a book with anyone able to read it would bring bad untold consequences so he had a witch spell it the week before he died. The spell was tied to his soul and over the course of the last 2 thousand years it has always been passed around hoping someone would be able to see what it says"

"So basically the book says what the futures like?" I asked and Deaton shook his head.

"It holds tales from the lives of those who have been able to read it, someone by the name of Jarvis Petrova was able to read the book but it was asthoygh he already knew what it held" spoke Deaton and I saw Stiles furrow his brow, he had a theory. "Legend has it that he tried to warn one of the originals of what would happen to his family but the original didn't listen and his family's fate was one of murder and gore"

"But oh how I loved it" spoke a British voice from the front of the store. Going to the store I saw a guy a few years older than me and Stiles with a smirk on his face. "My names Kol Mikaelson and I'm here on behalf of Jeremy Gilbert the author of that book"
