Chapter 6: The Party Never Ends

Jeremy POV 

"Guess what?!!" Squeaked Caroline as she ran into my bedroom at Chris' house. Man I think I'm going to have to get my own place. 

"You found glitter in your poop?" I spoke randomly as I started to search for nearby apartments, maybe I could get Caroline to compel me one hmmm. 

"Uh no weird and I've transferred to Beacon Hills high school so I'm here to stay" she spoke happily and I nodded distracted. "What's wrong?" She asked as she curled up next to me looking at the computer screen. "Apartments? 2 bedroomed, huh? Fancy" she commented and I rolled my eyes at her. "Why are you looking at apartments?" 

"Because I hate my family and they hate me and besides do you really want to live here?" I asked her so she conceded and we continued to look at apartments until my father and brother got home. And then I was left alone apartment hunting until the following night when I was dragged by a blonde teen to go watch some stupid lacrosse game, at least I managed to grab my flask before we left. 

"Why hello father, niece" I spoke as I sat down next to Gerard. "What a surprise seeing you here" I Said But Allison Just ignored me, I guess she really does hate me, how fun. 

"Son, Who's this? I don't believe we've properly met even though she's been living with us" asked Gerard and Caroline was quick to introduce herself. 

"I'm Caroline Forbes" she said smiling shaking Gerard's hand. 

"Yeah she decided that I needed a friend when I made all my others hate me, seriously you shoot one person in the head and it's like you've committed a crime or something" I Said voice laced with sarcasm as I got twin disapproving looks as I took a swig from my flask, Allison doing everything she could to ignore me. "So Allison How's school been? I mean seeing your ex everyday must be hard maybe you and Caroline should going clubbing mingle with the other lonely singles" I Said to her and again twin glares. 

"I have a boyfriend and nobody likes being a rebound give her time" Said Caroline so I shrugged. 

"Which boyfriend you talking about Tyler or Klaus?" I asked with a cheeky grin to which she just rolled her eyes. Allison complained about being cold, a ploy to get Gerard's keys, and Gerard watched the game where kids got knocked down until they got carried off in a stretcher, this game is better than I thought. They were 2 players down, ha they were going to lose. 

They got another player in the former of someone I don't know but he looked strong enough. "You!!" Shouted the Coach pointing in my direction. "You play?" He asked and I felt Caroline slapping my arm repeatedly in an excited fashion. 

"Go play son, I'm sure nobody will be able to tell your drunk" Said Gerard and I rolled my eyes draining the flask before moving down the bleachers. 

"I hate this" I complained as me and the other guy geared up. "Why did I agree?" I muttered and I heard the other guy snort. "I'm not even in high school, only reason I'm here is because a friend of mine dragged me here literally, god I wish I was drunk enough so I couldn't pass as sober" I Said to the guy who just snorted again might I add as we went to the field, this guy didn't talk much at all. 

As we played the huge guy on the other team seemed too cocky, oh how I hated that kid. He was charging my way and the other guy who wasn't on the team was preparing to do something but someone tackled him whilst he was distracted. Great so this is up to me then, why is it up to me? Groaning I stood straight and rammed into the guy as he ran past me, he fell to the floor and people cheered. I need more whiskey or vodka or something else maybe some tequila. 

"Can we leave?" I asked Caroline as I left the pitch, McCall hurt on the field. She rolled her eyes but nodded and we made our way back to the Argent household. "Hey Chris what's cooking?" I asked as me and Caroline entered the kitchen. "You know Care don't you?" 

"Yes I do because she socialises with your family more than you do" he spoke making Caroline chuckle as she offered my sister in law help. As we made the final preparations for dinner Gerard shows up with Allison and Scott in tow. 

"Why's everyone so silent? I expected at least you Joshua to be talking?" Asked Gerard looking at each of us at the table. "I mean it may have been a few centuries since I was a teen but even then we dated and broke up all the time?" 

"Yeah but teens are so dramatic nowadays, aren't they Caroline?" I asked the vampire who nodded. "I mean these 2 have the awkwardness of breaking  up, for unknown reasons I might add, and Caroline has the whole Klaus Vs Tyler thing going on whilst I in my non term life enjoy getting drunk" I spoke and quickly finished my food whilst everyone e else ate rather slowly. "I'm leaving" I Said standing up and leaving the house. 

-TIMESKIP- 

"Scott" I said as I walked closer to him and his friend Stiles when they were looking at a computer outside of the school, looking at a beastiary. "It's a kanima if your wondering" i said to him and he seemed confused. 

"You knew? Have you even seen it?" He asked and I shook my head. 

"It was confused by its own reflection, that's how he knew but how did you see that?" Asked Derek as he walked over with a pretty blonde. I shrugged. "What makes you think I won't kill you? Your family did ruin my life after all" he pointed out and I chuckled. 

"You know I have my way of seeing things if you will" I Said to the 'alpha'. "But I've been around the block I know things"

"You murder innocent people for no reason" said Scott in an incredulous voice making Stiles seem shocked and Derek raise an eyebrow whilst the blonde just stood looking shocked. 

"Okay yeah I did kill that guy but I had my reasons anyway I could be really helpful in this" I Said addressing both parties who seemed on opposing sides. Seriously there was the Argents, the kanima, the Hale pack and Scott. "You need me" 

"Why would we need you? How do we know you wouldn't just stab us in the back?" Asked Scott. 

"Because I wouldn't hesitate to kill the kanima" I Said before I heard footsteps behind me showing Caroline was behind me. 

"And I wouldn't let him stab you in the back" she said looking at them. "I'm his moral compass of sorts. And besides Jeremy knows more about the supernatural than even the oldest vampires in the world" 

"I'm pretty sure she had sex with one of them" I said smirking which caused the vampire to elbow me. 

"And how can you help? And how does he know so much?" Asked the blonde. I can sense she won't get along with Caroline, she's too bitchy she's let everything go to her head and she'll remind Care too much of her before she turned. 

"And I thought you were called Josh not Jeremy?" Said Stiles confused finally speaking up. Good kid lots of potential. 

"Exactly and Scott ask Deaton about someone called Jeremy Gilbert and tell him I'll be paying him a visit, he has something that belongs to me"
