Chapter 7: (I Just) Died In Your Arms Tonight

Jeremy POV 

"What?" I asked down the phone to Caroline. 

"You need to come to the school and distract Erica and Issac from killing Lydia" she said and I started to think. 

"Can I Run you over?" I asked to which I got a no. "Can you run me over?" And again no. I'm starting to think she doesn't like my ideas. "How about I run a stranger over 'accidentally'?" 

"Why does your distraction have to involve running someone over?" Caroline asked as I drove towards the school. "Just cause a scene or distract them" she said before hanging up. As I was driving I saw a pet store, a pet store with lizards, snakes and puppies. 

-TIMESKIP- 

"Issac, Erica I found the Kanima!!" I shouted down the hall as I saw the 2 teens heading for the library. They shared a look shrugging and followed me. We entered one of the biology classrooms. "Although I'm not sure which one it is" I Said as we looked among the snakes and lizards I bought at the pet store. 

"Is this some sort of joke?" Asked Erica annoyed as she kicked a lizard which got too close. 

"What no!! Derek said he was looking for the snake but then Stiles said it was like a lizard and I saw these I got them because what if one of them just grow and it's not actually a person" I said to them before I went to the close cage and picked up the animal inside. "And I also bought a puppy" I Said holding up the little brown cocker spaniel. "I called her Katherine, because Katherine's a bitch" I said happily as Erica cooed at the puppy. 

"Erica he's distracting us" Said Issac suddenly and they glared at me before turning to leave. And then a man appeared holding a Spanish water dog poodle mix, it was blonde. 

"And I called that one Issac, shout out to Layhey" I Said enthusiastically. I went to grab ahold of the other puppy and I held them both out to the 2 members of the leather squad. "Come on, you know you want to co at them" I Said and they just walked past me. Time to phone Caroline. 

"Hey did you distract them? Well anyway we are nearly at Scott's meet us there?" She said. 

"Yeah I distracted them, but I'm not sure how long I'll be I have reptiles to clear away as some puppies to take home first" I Said putting the puppies back into the crate stepping over the lizards. 

"Why do you have lizards?" She asked leaving a pause before continuing in a happy voice. "And what are the puppies called?" 

"Well the girl is called Katherine because female dogs are also called bitches and the other is called Issac because he's got curly blonde hair" I Said as I felt a thing grab my pant leg. "Let me call you back" I Said picking up the crate. "Let's just keep this between us okay?" I Said to the puppies as we left the school. 

-TIMESKIP- 

"Carebear!!" I Shouted as I pulled up to the McCall house. She was stood outside since she couldn't get in. "Hey everyone alright, no dead teens yet?" I asked and she shook her head. "You Alright?" I asked her as we sat on the steps and she put her head on my shoulder. 

"Yeah Just miss my mom" she said and I frowned, then why didn't she go home? I must have said this out loud because she talked, unless we are telepathic which would be freaking awesome I'd totally freak the shit out of people. "Because I'm not going to leave you I told you that."

"Care tomorrow morning I expect you to be going back to Virginia, I'll be good I promise" I Said holding my pinky out to her which she took with a smile. "Care" I started to say and I just sat with my mouth open trying to find the words. "I think now would be a suitable time, to leave" I Said motioning to the house. "I know you won't want to leave right now but do, Please I don't want the werewolves getting to you" I Said and she nodded before leaving, vampspeeding away into the late afternoon. 

"Joshua" I heard a voice say when it was dark. I saw Derek and his betas. "Why don't you just let us past? It will make things easier" 

"Well can I just say the uniforms for the leather squad are on point, very leathery. And I would happily let you past except I have my reasons for not and I don't think they will let you past" I Said before I pointed to 2 figures behind the werewolves. 

"What the fuck?!!" Screeched Issac, could have been Erica, as he looked at the decaying corpses. "What the hell are those things?!!"

"They aren't things that's Halfred and Aki, and they about to fuck you up" I said just before the corpses charged. 2 minutes later Erica and Issac were down for the count. "I'm so proud of my babies" I Said putting my hand to my chest. Derek just glared whilst trying fend off Hallfred. And then he ripped him apart as Boyd did to Aki. "Now that makes me mad" I Said and I was about to attack but I suddenly felt a sharp pain in the back of my neck. 

"Sorry Uncle J, we just can't trust you" said Allison in my eldest as I started to lose consciousness.
