Chapter 20: Monster

Stiles POV 

"You okay?" I asked Scott as we were waiting to get onto the bus for the lacrosse meet. "I mean with yesterday an all and Josh and stuff and yeah"

"I'm fine, kind of worried about Kol" Scott said and I raised an eyebrow. "He lost his best friend and even before that he wasn't exactly stable"

"I'll have you know I'm lerfectly stableish" I heard from inside the school bus and we turned to see Kol peering out of the window. "All I've wanted for a long time is to eat ice cream without fucking Jennifer to get to it first" he said before he disappeared. But then he appeared again. "Now tell that lunatic of a coach to hurry up, I'm getting impatient" he said before disappearing again. 

"Okay then" I Said before I turned to Scott who just seemed confused. "Did he have a tub of ice cream?"

"Yeah yeah he did"

-TIMESKIP-

"Okay I have to ask" I Said after we'd been on the coach for a while. "What are you doinghere and what's with the freezer of ice cream? And how did you get the freezer working?" 

"Well I found a wire and pulled it and connected the plug for the freezer to it" Said Kol looking at the freezer on the seat next to him. "I don't think it was important" he muttered to himself before turning back to us with a smile. "And besides it's not like Allison and Lydia aren't following you I just thought I'd do the same from a closer distance, I mean it's that or I have to deal with Jennifer and no thank you" he said before taking a mouthful of vanilla ice cream. "There is something seriously wrong with that women"

"Supernatural wrong or human?" I asked and Scott glared. "What you never know"

"She's a teacher, her class got attack by birds I doubt she's the darach" said Scott and I sighed, nobody ever listened to me and I'm usually right I was right about Matt wasn't I, yeah that's right Stiles was right. 

"It's possible, you never knew Deaton was a Druid until he told you" Said Kol like he was talking about what he was having for dinner, he'd probably have a helpless college kid or something. "Stiles hand" ordered the vampire and frowned sharing a suspicious glance with Scott before putting my hand over the seat. And then he fucking slit my palm. 

"Oh god oh god" I Said turning away. 

"Quit moving" Said the vampire and I turned around, he was putting it on the ice cream ahshdkak!!! "Wasn't so bad Now was it?" Said the vampire as he released my hand and I glared at him as he took a bite of the blood covered strawberry ice cream. "Want me to heal it?" He asked and I glared at him. 

The vampire then looked at his phone before standing. "Where are you going?" Asked Scott panicked, who knows what he'd do. 

"Stop the motorised vehicle please" Shouted Kol as he made his way to the front of the bus. "Stop the god damn bus or I'll hang you with your large intestine and shove your spine up your arse after I remove it" he shouted at the drive who was quick to pull into a stop. "Thank you, now wait until I get back" he said, compelled him I'm guessing. 

"Dude" said Danny and I turned to look at the techy guy who was sat with his asshole alpha werewolf boyfriend. "Who the he'll is that guy?" 

"He's grieving don't judge him" I said to the fellow human and he nodded as everyone started to get off the bus. We were waiting outside for Kol's return and then I saw him walking over the hill. Reminded me if that one song, you know the one. "What's that?" I asked when I saw the bag in his hand. 

"Oh well I buried it a while ago thought I'd retrieve it" he said as he made his way towards the bus. Allison and Lydia had joined us, Allison's car was running off fumes. "Guess what it does" Said the vampire as he sat next to his freezer again. 

"I don't know, is it dangerous?" Asked Lydia and Kol smirked, I would have thought the dangerous part would be a given but hey we don't think the same apparently. 

"Kind of" He said before he pulled a clock out of the bag. "It signals when death is near" he said happily before he tapped it. It chimed loudly making everyone cover their ears, except the supernatural apparently. "Isn't it fantastic?"

"Should we be able to hear it?" I asked and he nodded. 

"It signals death for supernatural and well your simply a walking talking meal my friend" he said and I glared, hurtful. "Speaking of hand" he instructed and I shook my head. Glaring he stood. "Don't make me climb over this seat" he said and I screamed as he did. 

"We're stopping at a motel for the night, Stilinski whatever your doing with your boyfriend stop!!" Shouted coach and I looked back at him and then at Kol who had my pinned down. "Just Stop"

"He's trying to kill me"

"Sure He is, sure"
