the thin walls of y/n's apartment seemed to shake, the guy who lived next door, dallon, had his friends over. from what she knew they were in a band, and spent tons of time singing.

her new job started tomorrow at 7 in the morning and she was not being kept up all night by these bozos again. so she adjusted her hair, rolled up the sleeves of her favourite shirt and left her apartment. their apartments were mere feet from eachother, so y/n didn't have to go far.

she pounded her fist against his door, waiting for the music to stop and the door to open. faintly, she could hear someone order the others to silence the song so he could open the door.

the door swung open, nearly hitting y/n in the face. "ah, miss l/n, correct? what brings you here?" he asked, leaning against the doorframe with a smug smile. its like his eyes were pulling her in, like she was falling victim of some trap. shaking her head, she pointed a finger in his face. "mr. weekes, on any other day i wouldn't do this, but you need to stop making so much damn noise." she insisted, angry.

"and why is that?" dallon sent her a confused look, raising an eyebrow. "my new job starts tomorrow and i can't sleep with all the ruckus!" y/n exclaimed, waving her hands around for dramatic affect.

the other three men in the house waited impatiently for dallon to return, and one of them decided to speak up. "hey, dal, whoever's at the door, tell em' to fuck off so we can continue playing." brendon entered the room where dallon stood at the doorway with y/n. brendon knew y/n, and they had their fair share of bad encounters, he knew how fiesty she was.

and how hot she looked when she was mad

y/n raised her left hand while raising her middle finger at the same time, making him laugh awkwardly and leave the room to tell the rest of the band that this might take a while.

"miss l/n-" he started, but was cut off instantly. "it's y/n." dallon nodded and restarted. "right. y/n, we have our own job to do, so sorry, but we arent stopping for anyone." he shrugged and slammed the door in her face.

"alright boys, let's keep playing!" he annouced, y/n stood on the other side of the door, just staring at it in a defeated way.

so she headed back to her apartment and made herself some coffee, but before she could drink any of the caffine, there was a knock on her door. groggily, the girl unlocked and opened the door and saw some familiar faces, nearly slamming the door in their faces as payback.

being mature, she didn't, and instead said some, kind of hurtful words. "alright, what do dumb, dumber and dumbest wanna say before you get a door to the face?" y/n placed a hand on her hip.

"for the next month, you will not hear a single Panic! At The Disco song unless you ask for it-" brendon started, being cut off by dallon. "BUT! you have to go on a date with me."

her expression changed negatively and she slammed the door right in his face. revenge was good.

the boys sighed and turned to leave, but dallon stayed behind, still standing at her door.

"so is it a deal?" he asked, voice slightly muffled.

"alright, one date and one date only?"

"you have yourself a deal."
