There's two of them. There's two lances but a female version. Keith didn't know nightmares came true.

That was until he was eating dinner at the McClain residence as he was next to Lance and rosy on his other side, lances twin sister, his older brother who was a cop, his wife who was pregnant but also from the military, his son, and Maria (who might be the sweetest and scariest).

He sat there silently as Lance happily chatted with Rachel at his side as he could hear some Spanish words slip up but he was pretty sure they where swears for the kids to not understand since Maria sent them disapproving looks everytime.

Keith felt Marcos wife's eyes on him as she was a pretty woman with pale skin and black hair with some brown high lights while she had dark blue eyes with freckles splashed across her face. She was as tall as Keith but she had a smaller frame though she was nine months pregnant, Keith could tell she's from the military with her biceps but otherwise he couldn't tell.

"So Keith how do you and Lance know each other?" Marco asked seeing the poor boy didn't know how to start his own conversation.

"We go to school together, for a while," Keith fiddled with his hands in his lap. It's been a while since he's been to a family dinner. A very long while.

"Trust me once your with a McClain your life isn't the same," Marcos wife smirked drinking a cup of water and Lance smirked back at her as he and sam looked at each other.

"That's because first time you came into this house you where left with us when we where seven," Lance smirked.

"Worst babysitting experience ever," she grumbled.

"Why what happened?" Keith asked curiously and Maria smiles innocently.

"Once I found one the other was gone, and that went on for five hours, and these two together are the worst thing ever, especially when they get aggressive," she said glaring at the twins.

"This is from Rach scratching me," Lance pulled up his shorts and Keith saw nail scars.

"And he bit me on the shoulder until I gave him his shoes back," Rachel showed her shoulder where there was a faded bite mark.

"Girls grow taller faster so Rachel took advantage until Lance sprung up like a baby giraffe," Marco laughed.

"Yea but I also got the better skin in puberty," Lance smiled proudly and Rachel sent him a glare.

"And I got better teeth brace face," Rachel shot back.

"Zit face," Lance shot back.

"Four eyes!"

"Enough you two," Maria snapped quickly and the twins quieted down.

"Rachel how's the private school?" Lance asked brightly and the bickering turned to friendly chat.

"It's really hard actually, I miss public school but at least collage won't be as much if I continue being an honors student," Rachel crossed her arms over the table.

"I see someone got the brains of the bunch," Leo giggled.

"I have to agree with you there," Keith smirked back.

"Actually we're both part of honors, only reason I got to go to a better school is cause lances sports will get him into collage too, Lance was a science class ahead for most of highschool," Rachel sent him a look and Lance whistled innocently.

"What class are you in this year for science?" Keith asked confused. He's never seen Lance in any science class.

"Veronica got me into a class at garrisons for astronomy," Lance blushed embarrassed and Sam and Marcos jaws dropped.
