Prom With Normani?!

Sade's POV
Oh my gosh!!! I can't believe that in 3 months, I'm gonna be graduating from this whack ass high school. I'm so excited. But you know what I'm most excited about? Prom!!!! My friends already have dates cause they got boyfriends and girlfriends that's going with them, and I'm glad for them. But guess who don't got a date? Me. Nobody wants to go to prom with me because of how ugly I am and how bad I dress. So they say. I wear baggy clothes, cause I'm a tomboy. But the ugly part, I don't know. What their saying, is probably true. I don't think I have a pretty face like the rest of the girls. But my friends said that I'm beautiful. I mean I think that their saying that cause their my friends, but nobody in my school ever come up to me and told me that I'm pretty, or that I'm beautiful. They would all laugh at me. But I hope that I will get a date eventually. We're in the lunchroom just talking about prom, and one of my best friends Ryan took me out of my daze.

Ryan: Hey Boo. You alright?
Sade: Yeah, I'm alright. Why you ask?
Ryan: Cause you look like you were out of it. You wanna talk about it?
Diamond: What's going on?
Ryan: nah, Sade look like she was out of it, so I just asked if she was alright.
Diamond: You Good Babygirl?
Sade: Can we talk about it later after school, at my place?
Both: Ok no problem.

I love my friends so much. They understand me so well. And they're so patient with me. Idk what I would do, if I didn't have them in my life. I came out of my thoughts as my ex crush Tasha comes towards me.

Tasha: Hey Sade?

Tasha was one of the prettiest and popular girls in school. I've had a crush on her since we were all freshman's. But I stopped cause she were one of those people that bullied me. I wonder what she wanted to tell me, maybe she had a change of heart.

Sade: Yeah?
Tasha: Will you go to prom with me?

Is she really asking me to go to prom with her?

Sade: Really?
Tasha: No. I'm just kidding. Why would I go to prom with you? You dress bad, and you look like a troll.

Everyone laughed at me except for my friends. I started to tear up, until Diamond spoke up.....

Diamond: aye y'all listen up. Sade is one of my best friends and y'all been bullying her ever since freshman year. I'm sick and tired of it. Aren't y'all tired of messing with her?! She's done nothing to any of y'all, and you guys have the nerve to still bully her. Come on? We are in our senior year of high school. Be mature. Look, let me catch one of y'all say something to her or if I hear anything about her again, it's me and y'all. Same goes for you Tasha. You talk about my girl again, and I will drag your ass.
Tasha: pshh whatever. You not gonna do anything.
Diamond: you test me, and see what will happen.

She rolled her eyes and she walked away. At this point my face is all messed up with tears until Ryan took some tissues and wiped my face.

Ryan: Hey, don't listen to her okay? Your beautiful, your talented, you can even play sports. Your like the whole package.
Sade: *sniffs* But I'm not that smart in my classes.
Ryan: girl, you know you smart. So stop playing.
Diamond: yeah. And don't worry, if they ever talk about you again, we got your back.
Ryan: Always
All Three: And Forever
Sade: *giggles* Thank you. I love you girls.
Both: And we love you.

*At Home*
So we're at my place just chilling. We did our homework first, before we chilled. That was our rule every time we would come to each to each other's house. All three of us are in my room laying down until Ryan spoke up...

Ryan: So what you wanted to speak to us about that got you zoned out?
Sade: So you guys know that prom is coming up?
Ryan: ouuu yes, I'm excited. Quincy and I already decided what color we're gonna wear.
Diamond: Same with Alex and I. I can't wait.
Ryan: But Babygirl, you don't got a date. If I wasn't with Quincy, I would've let you be my date. If you want I can call him and tell him forge..........
Sade: don't dare to finish that sentence. I'm not gonna let you do that for me. I appreciate the gesture tho.
Diamond: So what are we gonna do? Cause I want all three of us to have a date.

All of us are thinking at this point until Ryan thinks of something then smirks at me. Uh oh!

Sade: Ry, why are you smirking at me like that?
Ryan: Remember how you told us that you have a humongous crush on Normani from Fifth Harmony?
Sade:...Yeeeeeaaaaahhhh
Ryan: sooooo, why don't we make a video of you asking Normani to go to prom with you.
Diamond: oh that's a good idea!!!!!! We can even ask our friends to come and help out. Ouuuu this is gonna be so cute. So what you think Sade?
Ryan: you in?

I was a bit hesitant, cause Normani is a gorgeous woman and I'm just a troll like what Tasha said. She wouldn't go to prom with someone like me. But it's worth a shot.

Sade:.........ok fine, I will do it.
Both: Yayyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!
Sade: But when's a good time to make this video?
Ryan: lets do it this weekend. But we need a plan.
Diamond: Ryan and I will think of a plan. You just think of what you're gonna say, and wear something cute. Not that you don't look cute in your outfits, but try to look daddyish. Remember, you asking her to prom. *smirks*
Sade: oh my gosh *starts to smile and blush*
Ryan: ouuuu look at her blushing.
Sade: *giggles* Anyway. So what y'all doing? Y'all staying here, or y'all going home?
Both: we staying here!!!
Sade: y'all need clothes to sleep in tho
Ryan: you forgot that we left some of our pajamas here?
Sade: Oh right. I forgot. So how bout we leave that little project aside for tomorrow, and just buy some food while we watch some movies yeah?
Ryan: I like the way you think.
Diamond: Yeah, lets do that.
Ryan: If Quincy and I wasn't together, I would for sure be with you. Your such a hopeless romantic kind of gal.
Sade: I'm flattered but I don't think that would be a good idea.
Ryan: And why not? I'm cute, I'm thick, Hell I'm delicious.

All of us laughed until I said....

Sade: You are, But I wouldn't want to lose what we have. I love our friendship better. And I don't want to lose y'all as my friends.
Both: Awwwwwwwwwwwww.
Ryan: That's so sweet. Even though you just friend zoned me, I'm gonna let that one slide. Cause I know that you meant every word.
Diamond: Ight, enough about this sappy shit. Who's ordering food?
SadeandRyan: Youuuuuuu
Sade: *laughs* you suggested it. So yo ass is gonna order and buy.

Diamond gave us the middle finger while she goes downstairs to the kitchen to call the Chinese restaurant.

Both: We love you too.
