Lyric Poem - It'll All Be Right in the Morning

47 3 1

Oh dear, will you tell me why you cry

Those silvery tears on your face are terribly out of place

My dear, let me hear you say

'Everything's okay,'

But no, stop lying to yourself,

We all know it's not something else,

It's you trying to run away again,

I stop you, pulling you close,

While whispering in your ear

My dear, when you smile like that

You sure know how to make a person crack

It's okay, I don't mind,

Spill your tears, I'll wipe them away,

And it’ll all be right in the morning,

The sun will shine, the night will say its goodbyes

I say, don’t worry about little things

I'll keep your woes away

It’ll all be right in the morning,

Let me kiss your tears away, then I can say,

‘Everything will be okay,'

It'll all be right in the morning

My dear, did you hear?

It'll all be right in the morning

Close your eyes, and when you wake a surprise:

It's all right in the morning

It'll all be made right in the morning
