From the corner of her eye, Gwen spotted Sheila and the rest lurking near the doorway, but something was amiss.

The gang refused to approach them.

"What's wrong, Gwen? Having trouble buying what I said earlier?"

"Uh, no... it's just..." Gwen forced some impromptu excuse for the look, confusion on her face, "It felt kinda weird that you had to bring me away from them, and not Sheila...stuff like that."

"Oh..." Timothy walked across the room toward the painting of the woman who looked exactly like the one in the locket.

"Gwen, do you know who she is?" He asked, in an eerie tone that didn't seem so much to be like the Timothy they knew.

"No, why?" Gwen knitted her brows together as her eyes traced his movements. He was acting oddly strange, and Gwen noticed Sheila frantically shaking her head as if she was trying to tell Gwen that he wasn't Timothy.

Gwen's heart rate began to increase, beat by beat, pulsating faster and faster that she feared he'd notice her anxiety. She bit her lip and tried to act normal.

"What's taking them so long?" Timothy questioned, impatiently storming back and forth in the room, occasionally taking quick peeks out of the windows, before hastily sliding the curtains back in place.

"They're probably caught up with something," Gwen reasoned, stealing a glance at the staircase that the four of them had gathered around.

Gwen had to figure a way to distract him and pull him away if he turned out to be an enemy disguised as an ally. She decided to ask him some questions.

Questions to confirm her worst fears.

"Hey Timo," Gwen began, "what's your main League character?"

"Really now, Gwen?" He chuckled, "at a time like this?"

"Just answer me," She rolled her eyes, "isn't League of Legends your favourite game after Eregor?"

"Jax?" He shrugged. "I have a few mains."

"Wrong," Gwen instantly confirmed that he was not Timothy. "You never play Jax, nor any melees for that matter."
