Pain and forgiveness

Ezra's POV
Y/N has been missing for 3 days now and Natsu refuses to leave his house. We know he's There because every time we go over to check on him he roars "go away!" Loud enough to shake the house.

I really hurt him so I can imagine how much Y/N is hurting. I feel horrible about all this. It's all my fault.

I decide to go to Wendy and Gajeel for help. They can help me find Y/N and straighten this out. I walk into the guild and spot both of them.

"Gajeel! Wendy! I need you both right now!" I yell causing the entire guild to look at me. Wendy rushes up to me right away and Gajeel just casually walks to me.

"What's going on?" Wendy asks

"Yeah why does the great Titania need us?" Gajeel asks mockingly

"Follow me." I tell them and turn to leave out of the guild. We walk outside and off to the side of the town where the forest starts.

"I'm sure you all heard the commotion that happened 3 days ago right?" I ask and they nod

"Salamander got yelled at by Mira after he made out with Lucy." Gajeel says with a smirk on his face.

"Yeah. Mira made a big scene about it." Wendy said quietly

"And I'm sure you noticed Y/N and Natsu haven't been to the guild since?" I ask and they look at each other and their eyes widen in realization.

"That's right. The new girl hasn't been round lately. Doesn't she live with salamander?" Gajeel asks

"She did..." I reply sadly

"What do you mean she did? Where is she now?" Wendy asks worriedly

"No one knows. Mira told me Y/N saw Lucy and Natsu kissing and got really upset and ran out. She's been missing ever since." I tell them with deep sadness in my voice. "All this is my fault! Lucy finally told Natsu she likes him but he wasn't sure and I suggested they kiss so they can see if they really do like each other and I didn't know Y/N liked him and he likes her and Natsu said he felt nothing for Lucy and now I've ruined their lives!" I yell and start crying.

Gajeel and Wendy look at me in complete shock as I cry in front of them.

"So I'm guessing you need us to sniff out Y/N and bring her back to salamander and you can apologize to them for what happened?" Gajeel asks.

"Yes. Precisely." I reply.

"Ok then. Wendy go get Carla and panther Lilly. I'll take the ground and you take the sky. Ok?" Gajeel says to Wendy.

"Yes sir!" She shouts and runs into the guild. She returns a minute later with the exceeds and the rush off to look for Y/N.

Natsu's POV
How long has it been now? A week? A month? Maybe a year? It feels like a eternity since that day. I feel so empty without Y/N here. I knew I liked her but I didn't think I loved her. Well at least not this much. I didn't know I could hurt so bad from missing someone. This pain is horrible. I don't want to see or talk to anyone. Every time someone comes over I roar at them to go away. I don't hate them I just want to be alone.

Maybe I should look for Y/N now. I know Mira said to leave her alone but I need to make sure she's ok.

I write a note and leave it on my door and go hunt for Y/N. I'd feel horrible if something bad happened to her.

How long has it been? Days at least. Maybe weeks. I can't keep this up much longer. The fighting. The pain. Physical and emotional. It's to much. I've been running from bandits and wild animals. Every time I think I'm safe I get attacked again.
