It's been a year since I got taken and almost killed. Natsu has hardly left my side and I honestly love it. He's showing more protection and devotion than ever before but we haven't lost our fun and playful side. We still have fun and laugh and play but we also go on missions and quests. That's when we get serious and focus on the job.

We quickly became the best pair in the guild at completing missions but we join Erza, Lucy, Wendy and Gray on difficult missions. All of us together make a unstoppable team.

Today we were hanging out in the guild talking and laughing. I was sitting in Natsu's lap when the guild doors flung open. There we saw Guildarts and me and Natsu looked at each other and smiled. We got up and rushed him to thank him for bringing me here.

"Guildarts!" Me and Natsu shout and rush him. Natsu never removes his necklace and I doubt he ever will.

"Natsu?! Y/N?!" He shouts with surprise as we hug him. "What's this?!" He asks and points to our necks.

"I marked her! She's my mate. She's mine forever and she got me this so I can show I'm hers forever! Look!" Natsu shouts happily and shows him the necklace.

"Wow. So I brought you your soulmate huh? That's amazing." He chuckles "and here my intention was to her make her mine." He laughs and Natsu growls. "Was my intention Natsu. It's not anymore."

"It better not be."'Natsu growls and I hug him tightly.

"You know I'd never leave you. Ever. My dragon." I whisper in his ear and kiss him softly and he blushes a bit.

"I know you wouldn't. My beautiful Phoenix." He whispers and hugs me close and kisses me.

"I heard that." Guildarts teases and laughs. "You two are definitely meant for each other."

Me and Natsu just smile and blush. We sit down with Guildarts and tell him about all that happened. He was shocked most about the part when I was almost sacrificed and how Natsu saved me.

"After that the magic council tried to arrest him but we all stepped in and told them how if he hadn't done that then they would of killed me and him and it would of caused a war because you know the guild wouldn't let something like that go." I tell him and he nods his head in agreement. "So they let him go with a warning. No ones bothered us since. Word spread about how fierce he was and no one dares challenge him." I finish and Natsu looks rather proud.

"Made a even bigger name for yourself huh?" Guildarts laughs.

"Yep I'm not the salamander of fairy tail anymore. I'm The Fire Dragon Of fairy tail."

"We've also heard The Fierce Fire Dragon Of fairy tail but not as much." I cut in and giggle.

"But to Y/N he's her baby dragon." Gray teases and Natsu punches him. "Lighten up man I'm just teasing." Gray groans.

"Shut up and go bug Juvia. You know she likes it." Natsu grumbles

"I love it." We hear Juvia shout making us laugh.

"So Natsu since she's your mate according to dragons is she your wife to?" Guildarts asks and Natsu's face goes pale.

"No. We agreed to wait. We're still to young."

"You guys can get married still. It won't change anything. Plus I'm sure you guys already have-"

"None of your business!" Me and Natsu shout and blush

"Yep. You totally have!" Guildarts shouts in laughter making us blush more.

"Well. I am his mate. So we had to." I squeak and blush more.
