The room was far more crowded than Donghyuck would've preferred, but he found it weirdly comfortable to sit beside Areum. Her smile was so warm that even when it wasn't directed at him, Donghyuck would notice his heart pick up pace ever so slightly.

"She kept trying to kiss me so I asked her to stop, but then she got angry at me and slapped me before running away" Mark's face only showed complete confusion as he sat back down beside Donghyuck. The younger laughed when he noticed the slightly red  spot on Mark's cheek. Grabbing his face to inspect the damage, Donghyuck snickered to himself. He knew that Mark's friendship with the girl wouldn't have ended pretty when she didn't get what she wanted, but he didn't know that his friend would've gotten hit.

Areum's giggle tore Donghyuck's attention away from his friend, his eyes travelling over to where she sat. She was now wedged between Jaehyun and Eunhyuck, her smile ginormous as she laughed at something Yuta had said.

"Who is that?" Mark asked, poking Donghyuck's shoulder. The younger turned back to look at him, "That's A" he said simply, pointing back at her with his thumb.

"She's the one that Taeyong hyung was on the phone with before?"

"Mhm"

"She looks really familiar. Don't you think?"

"I think you're just dumb"

An unsurprised gasp left Mark's lips, his nose scrunched up in fake rage. An expression of pure amusement made its way to Donghyuck's face, making Mark laugh loudly.

When the duo had stopped laughing they noticed that it had gotten much quieter around them. With a quick glance, they noticed their whole group looking at them, small smiles on their faces.

"Oh, Areum! This is-"

"Mark?!"

Before Taeyong could even introduce her to the boy, Areum jumped from her seat and stared at him.

"Toprappermk? Mark?"

She asked, slightly nervous, entirely hopeful.

Mark's head nodded and Areum jumped on him, hugging him tightly.

"It's me! Areum! Noona!"

Areum was smiling brightly as she let go of Mark, letting him get a good look at her face. He let out a quick gasp.

"Noona!" he yelled happily as he hugged her. "I get to finally meet you!" The pair looking like long-lost friends.

"So you've met Haechannie already, huh?" Mark asked with a smile, nudging his friend with his shoulder. Areum looked at him with confusion.

"You're kidding right?"

Mark looked around the whole circle, his eyes stopping at Taeyong.

"You know?" the younger asked, the elder just nodded with a small smile. "I wanted him to figure it out for himself" Taeyong said with a shrug.

Mark smiled and looked back at Areum and then at Donghyuck, both of them sitting with their eyebrows scrunched together.

"Bongyuck, meet keemarroom. Keemarroom, meet bongyuck" Mark said with a giggle, gesturing between his two friends.

A loud gasp left Johnny, Yuta and Jaehyun as they watched the whole thing.

Areum looked over at the confused Donghyuck, a smile spreading across her face. She quickly threw her arms around him and squeezed him tightly.

"It's nice to finally meet you, mr pepe" she said with a smile as she pulled away.

"And it's nice to finally meet you too, old lady" the boy laughed, his heart running a marathon in his chest.

A/N - tbh I hate this chapter but I really wanted to put out something for you guys and Hyuck and everyone else needed to find out ya know
