Donghyuck's eyes fluttered open, shutting again quickly as a bright light hit his retinas,
"What the fu-"
"Duck"
The familiar voice giggled slightly, the sound of fingernails hitting a phone screen at high speed filling the room.

"We're in the nurse's office. You should probably watch your mouth, dumbie" Areum smiled at Donghyuck as his eyes finally adjusted. "Was I in a coma or?" he asked, looking down at his body on the bed that wasn't his.

"You're being overdramatic, sweetie. You've been asleep for about an hour" she laughed, "You got lowkey beat up, but supergirl Kim Areum was there to save the day. You kinda just fell asleep when you got here" she explained, looking down at her phone every ten seconds.

The device vibrated, making her grab it and start tapping again before putting it down completely.

"They're all worried about you" she said, moving to the boy's bed, , comforting the boy by combing through his hair with her fingers, "You fucking idiot" she whispered angrily through gritted teeth, slapping his head, not as hard as she wanted to, but still hard enough to make him wince. "How stupid can you be?!" she fell back into her chair, running a hair through her messy hair.

"Sorry?"

"Sorry?! That's it?!"

"I'm very sorry, Areum noona"

The girl cringed slightly at his words, "Don't ever talk to me like that again, or I'm gonna block you on Snapchat" she threatened, pointing her finger at him. "But our streak!" Donghyuck whined, making the girl lean forward, "Guess you shouldn't call me noona, huh?" she said. The boy smirked, "But I love my noona soooooooo much" he said in a high-pitched 'cute' voice, only to Areum it sounded like a dying camel.

"You're not cute. Stop yourself"

"You're right. I'm more on the sexy side, aren't I?"

Areum just smiled at him, making Donghyuck confused, "What? No hitting me or rolling your eyes?" he asked with a laugh, but Areum just kept smiling at him.

"I'm just happy that you're ok, Donghyuck" she said quietly, making the boy's heart beat a little faster. "Donghyuck? When have you ever called me by my name like that? It's weird" he laughed awkwardly, making the girl chuckle.

Areum shook her arms around, loosening them before she stood up and started walking around the room. "Whatcha doin'?" the boy looked at her weirdly as he watched her pace around his bed. "Just stretching my legs. I've been sitting down since we got here" she smiled at him. "Oh! And Taeyong is on his way, and get ready for a storm because that boy is angry" she laughed. "I mean not at you of course. If Minhyuck came in here right now with two black eyes and a few broken ribs I wouldn't be the least bit surprised" she said, and just as she stopped her pacing, the door to the nurse's office swung open, "Where is Lee Donghyuck?!" a worried voice yelled out.

Areum smiled at the entrance, and Donghyuck couldn't help but feel his heart drop at the view. "We're in here, Tae" she yelled out, an even wider smile appearing on the girl's face when he walked in the door. Taeyong's hair was a giant mess and he was huffing from how much he ran.

"A-are... yo-u... ok?" he managed to say in between pants, signs of how fast and far he ran.

Donghyuck looked at Areum, her eyes on Taeyong, her smile was small but he could see how much she cared for him in her beautiful brown eyes. He felt his heart ache as it fell like a stone in his chest.

"Yeah. I guess"
