Sage Connelly has survived the abundance of murderers in Beacon Hills. Those murderers including her best friend's psychotic Uncle, a boy that had a passion for photoshopping a fake relationship, a homicidal lizard that happened to be the lacrosse captain, and most importantly, she's survived herself. Having gained enough knowledge about her abilities from Deaton, she's still growing familiar with the idea of searing pain every time one of her friends get themselves injured by being idiots; although there are new improvements in her altor skills.
When junior year rolls around the corner, relationships are turned to chaos. The summer break had created tension for all of the couples in Beacon Hills, from Jackson and Lydia who were now separated by continents, to Stiles and Sage who seemed to be on the rocks because of a childhood friend of Stiles. Not only that, but someone from Sage's past comes back and she's forced to make the decision between her first heartbreak or her second.
Mallory Connelly wasn't in Florida on vacation a few months before the Hale fire, and Sage starts to discover more about her family and what really happened all those years ago. Not to mention, she's slowly losing her mind as more of her past unravels right in front of her. Of course though, there is that one nagging question on everyone's mind. When everything is over and done, who's going to be the one laying still on the ground?
