Me and Tom sat on the warm sand, staring at the sunset on the clear water. We were sitting up against a bunch of rocks so we were able to cuddle easier.

"This first week had been amazing." I sighed in content as Tom toyed with my hair gently.

"It really has. I couldn't imagine anything better. Especially with you here - actually here, with me." Tom looked down at me and I could see the concern in his eyes. I noticed them trailing down slowly and I instantly knew what he was thinking.

I took his hand in my own and placed it on the 7 inch vertical scar that ran down my left side.

"It's in the past, Tom. I'm okay, I'm here." I told him, looking up at him and kissing him gently.

"It's just scary, having to picture my life without you."

The cast of Spider-Man : Homecoming has gone out for dinner when they were in LA. It was the first time they had all been free throughout the whole press tour and they had decided to take advantage of the evening by going to one of Carter's favourite restaurants that she had been begging the friends to go to.

Tom had invited Carter on the press tour since she was already in the city and had no plans or jobs. The couple had enjoyed being together without the watchful eye of her older brother and the other Marvel men she considered her brother's.

"I can't believe you guys have never been here before, me and Chris come here every time we're in LA, it's a tradition!" Carter told them as she took a bite of her dessert.

"You're right, it's amazing!" Tom replied as he took a bite of his ice cream sundae.

"Tom, she's already your girlfriend, you don't need to agree with everything she says. It's kinda desperate." Zendaya laughed, flicking the straw wrapper at her friend.

The cast enjoyed their meal and got into their own cars to make their way back to the hotel they were staying at.

Tom opened the car door for his girlfriend and she thanked him with a kiss and a smile. They were soon driving down the free way and talking about any topic they could without a care, they were enjoying each other's presence - something their schedules hadn't allowed in a while.

"I've been thinking-"

"That's never good." Carter laughed and watched as Tom shook his head with a grin.

"I'm serious. We should move in together. It makes sense, we live on opposite sides of the world and hardly ever get to see each other. Even if I just move out to the US, we'll still be a maximum of 4 hours away rather than the 8 hours it would take for me to get here from England."

Carter could tell he was nervous about approaching the topic, this was the first serious relationship for both of them so it was new territory.

He didn't get to hear her response. A truck had flipped on the other side of the road and was sent hurtling towards the couple before they had a chance to react.

The black car was thrown off the raised highway and was flipping as it headed towards the ground. Carter's seatbelt snapped and she was thrown about the front seat of the car, with nothing to do but listen to the frantic screams of her boyfriend as he tried to catch her.

As the car landed harshly on the empty field, Carter was thrown out of the windshield from the upside down car, ending up at least twenty feet from the vehicle.

Tom couldn't move, his seatbelt had locked and was preventing him from moving even though every part of him wanted to get to his unconscious girlfriend.
