"You can't hide them from me! I will find my family!" Katie shouted at her commander as the guards dragged her to the solitary confinement or time out of the school.
"Katie, you are the smartest student we have ever had. I think a few days to yourself will be enough to calm you down," Iverson said. He leaned in close to her face. "Struggle, but don't make to much of a fuss and try to escape like I know you can, and I will tell you everything we know," Iverson whispered. Katie nodded then proceed to struggle, not really trying. Iverson glanced at the crowd that had just gathered.
"I know the truth!" Katie shouted. Iverson looked at her and knew what she was doing, he gave a look of approval. "You can't silence me I will-" the guard put a hand over her mouth as they dragged her to the bare room of time out.
Keith, Lance, and Hunk all watched as the goody-two-shoes of the school was dragged into the solitary confinement room, tears brimming in her eyes.
"What just happened?" Lance asked.
"She just went rogue. Katie fricking Holt just got into trouble. What is this?!" Hunk asked. Keith and his crew went back to their dorm.
"I can't believe this! She is the smartest kid here!" Lance said from his bunk above Hunks.
"They had to have done something to her. Did you hear what she said, and the way she was crying?" Hunk said.
"Maybe we should just ask her," Keith said. His crew just looked at him. "Look, I am as curious as you are. So let's sneak down there tonight and ask her?"
"If we were caught, we would be in so much trouble though," Hunk said.
"But what happens if they break her before we ask? Then she goes back to being a know-it-all and we never find out," Keith said.
"She is not a know-it-all," Hunk said. "She is super shy. I met her one time in my engineering placement class. You know the one to see if you belong there? Anyway, we were paired up and she didn't talk at all. I knew what she was doing so we got the project done, but she never boasts. She might even be selective mute. I have never heard her speak other than today,"
"You know, that is the first time I have heard her speak as well," Lance said.
"So are you in, or not?" Keith asked.
"I'm in," Lance said.
"Me too," Hunk said.
"Then we go tonight, long after our afternoon classes and curfew," Keith said.
