Chapter 4: Stay With Me

*several months have passed*

About a month has passed since James has hung out with Jaiden.

(James' POV)
I was in the zone. I was a drawing machine and literally finished a video in two days. I don't know how I spit out a new video in just two days. I was just so focused. Maybe it's because Jaiden was out of town for like an entire month. What was she even doing for a month? Probably just needed a break. Wait, shouldn't she be coming back tomorrow? Wow. Time flies when you're working hard. I got like three videos out this month. Hopefully that's enough content to sustain the fans for a while. Cause it's my turn to take a break.

(Jaiden's POV)
I was coming back from a long trip to San Francisco. Why San Francisco? I don't know. I just thought it always just looked so beautiful. Anyways, I needed to take my mind off of a lot of things. One of them being James. I've gotta say, it really helped. I just hope I don't resume thinking about him once I get back. I do wanna hang out with him when I get back but what if that just makes me think about him even more? But what am I gonna do? Just stop seeing him? That would also just make me think about him more. I just noticed how nice the sky looks outside. I had the window seat on my plane ride back. It was a pink and red color and the sun was almost entirely set. The scenery displayed such a calming setting. I almost didn't want it to end. As it was getting darker I slid on some noise canceling headphones and shut my eyes.

I woke up early in the morning and the plane had just landed. I got off the plane and called an Uber. It soon arrived. I said Hi and being the anti-social person I am, I slid on my headphones again until about half an hour later when we arrived at my house. I said thank you and paid him. I went into my house already tired as heck. But then I remembered that I still had to pick up Ari from my parents who were watching them while I was on vacation. Ughhhhh. I trudged outside to my car and hesitantly got in the car and turned it on. I drove to my parents house, picked up Ari, and finally after seemed what was like forever, arrived back at my house. I was so tired I felt like I could sleep for the rest of my life. I put Ari in their cage and then trudged upstairs and flopped on my bed. I fell asleep in my regular clothes and not even with the covers pulled back.

I woke up the next morning feeling not the greatest. But after I took a shower and got cleaned up, I didn't feel as bad. I hadn't had human interaction for about 2 days besides the Uber and at the Airport. You know I don't care. I'm gonna text James and see what he's up to.

Jaiden: Hey James! I'm back from my trip.

James: Hey! That's great! Where did you even go?

Jaiden: San Francisco. I just took a really long get away trip to take some stuff off of my mind.

James: Oh, I see. Well that's good!

Jaiden: So what have you been up to?

James: I've just been working. The usual. But I put out three new videos this month so now I kind of want to take a vacation like you. But without actually going anywhere haha.

Jaiden: I'll have to watch those. And you should! It really helps.

James: Maybe I will.

James: So I know you just got back and I understand if you're not up to it but, would you wanna get dinner later tonight?

Jaiden: Sure! That sounds great! What time shall I be ready?

James: 7pm sound good?
