Adam: Dude are you almost here?
James: Yeah sorry. I should be there in a few minutes.
Adam: Well hurry up! People are starting to think I'm lonely.
James: Well that's because you are.
Adam: Shut up and get your butt over here!
James: I'm coming hold on.
James arrives and walks in to look around the restaurant for a couple of seconds and spots Adam giving him a dirty look.
James: Sorry.
Adam: You better be sorry! The waiter came back at least 5 times seeing if you were here so we could order. I was just about to eat without you.
James: I said sOrRY.
Adam: It's whatever. Let's just order.
James: Fine.
*waiter comes over*
Waiter: So what can I get you tonight? I see your friend has finally arrived.
Adam: Yeah believe it or not.
James: Anyways I'll go first. Can I get the Burger Combo Supreme? (idk wait isn't this supposed to be brunch? Meh whatever)
Waiter- Sure.
Adam- And I'll have the uh Sunny side up combo. (idk again)
Waiter: Sounds good.
*takes menus and does other waiter stuff*
Adam: Okay so now that that's taken care of, you wanna explain why you were late?
James: Oh I uh just overslept.
Adam: Hmmmm. Are you sure?
James: Y-yeah.
Adam: I can tell when you're lying, James. You were doing something that you obviously don't want me to know. I'm gonna figure this out.
James: Yeah okay. Honestly Adam I just overslept.
Adam: Sure.
James: Ughhhh.
*time skip to end of meal*
*waiter brings back check*
Waiter: Have a good rest of your day folks.
Adam: Thanks. You too.
James: Welp I'm gonna head out Adam. I've got some errands to run.
Adam: "errands"
James: Shut up.
Adam: Okay bye now James I'm gonna get to the bottom of thiiiiis.
