Chapter 15: Weddings Are Expensive

James: Sooo, I suppose we start planning a wedding?

Jaiden: Oh yeah.

James: I don't even know where to start with these types of things.

Jaiden: Well me neither.

James: Not to mention it'll take a dent out of our monetization revenue.

Jaiden: Well, you've got to remember, James. We're YouTubers. As long as we put out a video every one to maybe two months, we'll be able to stand on our feet.

James: True, true.

James: Uhhh-

*starts typing*

"How to plan a wedding"

Jaiden looked at his screen and laughed.

Jaiden: I guess it's the best we got.

Several months of wedding planning pass until they sent out their last invitation in exhaust.

James & Jaiden: Finally!

James: What now?

Jaiden: We wait until the wedding.

The wedding was only a few weeks away and they were nervous and extremely excited.

Wedding Day

James' alarm went off as he immediately set it to snooze. It went off again.

James: I'm up, I'm up!

He looked at the clock with a bed head.

He called Adam, Maaz, T.J, and his brother.

Adam, T.J, and his brother were already almost there.

Maaz's flight had barely landed.

"The Uber's going as fast as it can!" said Maaz, over the phone.

James: Hurry!

Maaz: How? I'm not even drivi-

*hangs up*

James: Let's get ready guys.

T.J: Yeah. We have to hurry up! Get moving!

They all frantically changed their clothes and got into their tuxes.

"Let's go!" yelled, James.

They all squeezed into James' car and went way over the speed limit.

T.J: Uh James.

James: Yeah?

T.J: We're getting pulled over.

James looked in his rear view mirror to see police lights flashing.

James: No, no, no, no, no, nO!

He banged his head on the steering wheel.

James: I'm gonna be late to my own wedding!

James rolled down the window.

Cop: License and registration please.

James got out his license and registration as fast as he could.

Cop: Hey there, why such the rush?

James: Oh, I- I've got to get to my wedding.

Cop: So that's what business you had going so fast.

James: Yes, sir.

Cop: Ah, okay.

James had built up a cold sweat now.

Cop: I'm gonna let you off with a warning for two reasons.

One: You haven't gotten any tickets before.

Two: It's your special day, and the last thing you want to do is let your wife/husband down.

Cop: Have a good wedding sir. Congrats!

He walked back to his police car.

James: Thanks!

James nervously shouted.

James drove off within the speed limit this time. After what seemed like forever, they finally arrived to the wedding venue.

They rushed to the back, as they weren't supposed to be seen yet. They opened the little back door.

Den: Uhh James you can't come in here!

Knowing what was going on, T.J covered James' eyes as Maaz and Adam slammed the door.

James: What's the matter?

T.J: You can't see Jaiden's wedding dress just yet.

James: Well that would've been nice to know ahead of time, instead of making me think that wE wErE gONNa dIE.

T.J: Calm down, pretty boy. Now let's go to the other back door where we're supposed to be.

They headed to the correct back door this time.

It was almost time for the big moment. The thing that they had all patiently waited for.

James walked down the aisle first, his groomsmen following. They waited.

Jaiden's Preparation Room

Jaiden: Is this actually happening right now?

Den: It is, my beautiful bestie. This is your day. Now get out there!

Jaiden: mhm.

Den: Oh no, are you getting cold feet?

Jaiden: No, no. I just- I don't know.

Den: Huh?

Jaiden: I never thought that I had a chance with James and look where I am now. It just amazes me.

Den: Well he loves you, Jai. He's told me numerous times!

Jaiden smiled.

Jaiden: Let's get out there!

Den and the other bridesmaids followed.

Le Aisle:

"What's taking so long?" T.J muttered through his teeth. "I don't know." said James. "Well that cake will be eaten one way or another." said T.J, jokingly. "Shut up, man!" said James.
"Shhh, here she comes!" said Maaz.

James: Whoa.
