Mia had finally arrived at her new home with Yugi. But it wasn't just any normal home. Yugi stayed at his grandpa's game shop, Kame Game, with his grandfather, Solomon Moto.
"Woah, it's the game shop, I've heard of this place before. They sell tons and tons of Duel Monsters cards here," Mia was thrilled, but then she began to grow slightly confused.
"So why are we here? Who runs the place?"
"Actually, my grandpa owns this game shop, and I stay here with him. So this is your new home with me,".
"Cool, this place looks awesome,". Yugi opened the door for Mia and led her inside.
"How about we head inside and I can give you a tour around the place, my friend?".
"Okay,". As Yugi lead Mia into the game shop, he noticed something different about the place.
"Hm, that's strange," thought Yugi aloud.
"What's wrong?" Mia asked Yugi, hoping that everything was alright.
"Well, most of the lights seemed to have gotten turned off. I wonder if grandpa is home,". Mia and Yugi walked towards the large thumbtack board where his grandpa occasionally hung up some messages for Yugi. Yugi saw a piece of paper that got hung up with a thumbtack, there was a message written on it from his grandpa.
The note said: Yugi, I have had to travel for a couple of days to take an unexpected trip to my parent's house, I should return by the end of the week.
"What does it say?" Mia questioned Yugi.
"It looks like grandpa had decided to take a little trip for a while, but he should be back soon".
"So I'll get to meet your grandpa?" Yugi smiled at her.
"Yes you will, and I think you're gonna like him,". Yugi walked to a small row of light switches that were placed on the wall next to the main entrance doors.
"Now, let's get on with the tour, shall we?" Mia got excited.
"Yeah, let's go,". Yugi gave Mia a detailed tour of the game shop. He showed where the game stuff can get purchased, where the storage rooms for extra stuff are, some of the basic areas like that. Then he took Mia down another hallway that leads to another section of the game shop that wasn't really, well, much like a game shop. There were two rooms next to each other. There was a bedroom, the door leads straight to the living room.
When Yugi and his grandpa bought the building in the first place, the back half of it was turned into a living area for the two of them.
Apparently, since Yugi would have been staying with his grandpa, Yugi claimed one of the extra supposed-to-be storage rooms and made a bedroom out of it.
"And here is my room," he stated as he lead Mia to the bedroom.
"It looks nice," commented Mia.
"You can sleep in here, I can just stay in the living room for now."
"Are you sure?" said Mia with a small smile, Yugi chuckled.
"I promise. I want you to be comfortable, okay? I think you'll like it there. Trust me."
"Okay." When the tour was over, Yugi had some things he wanted to talk with Mia about. Yugi knew that both on the outside and on the inside that Mia was excited to finally have a new home and someone to take care of her. But he also knew deep down inside, Mia was a little afraid. She will probably take a while to grow fully accustomed to the place, she didn't quite know much about Yugi and his friends either. Yugi wanted Mia to be able to be comfortable around her new home, around himself, and around his friends.
