In a rather dull and boring part of town, there were tones of houses that looked almost exactly the same.

Especially one house in particular.

Well sure, it was a two story, unlike most others. But apart from that, it's really not that-....

(CRASH!)

Oh. Well, nevermind then.

"Really, you guys?!" Amire said as she stood at the doorway which lead from the dining room to the living room. Here, she found two playful brothers, Dylan and Alex, pretend roughhousing. On the ground, shattered into over a million pieces, was the red flower vase that had been knocked over due to their harmless bit of fun.

The two culprits in question, having seen the damage done to their sister's favorite vase, gulped before backing further into the room, and away from the now stern faced Amire.

"We can explain!" They both said in unison, to which Amire tapped the ground lightly with her foot as her hands were on her side.

"Oh really! And what excuse do you have up your sleeves now?" she said, knowing the two all too well.

Dylan smiled at her reply and proceeded with his explanation. "You see, my dear sister, as an older sibling it would be irresponsible of me not to teach my dear brother how to defend himself in a fight where he can't use his ability! Yes, one or two important items may be lost along the way. But hay! All is well in both love and war! Am I not right?"

"I'm not sure if that saying should be used in this kind of situation." a new voice said.

Looking up, the three found their cousin Mira descending the stairs. In her hand was the silver flute that she never dared to part with.

"Oh Mira! You're awake!" Amire said as the beautifully toned skinned girl made her way into the room. Upon seeing the full extent of the damage, she shook her head at the two boys.

"It's hard to tell which of you is the older sometimes." she said simply. To which Amire shook her head. "I couldn't agree more!" she said.

The two brothers wore guilty faces, before breaking out into wide grins. "Ok, ok. We really should clean this up! Sorry again, big sis!" Alex said as he and Dylan cleaned away the shards. "Yeah! We'll just get you a prettier one!" Dylan bragged, to which Amire just huffed. "And I really did like that one!" she said.

Suddenly, the front door was flown open and in rushed a fluffy furred white dog, with his leash trailing behind him. He barked a few times, as if to give the teens already inside their good mornings, and beelined for the dining room, where he knew breakfast would be waiting for him.

"Looks like someone's extra hungry after their morning walk!" Alex chuckled.

"Well he isn't the only one!" another new voice said.

In walked a very tired Ty, with a very sunny and vibrant Akiesh not too far behind.

"The dog's got us running a marathon just to keep up!" Ty complained, bending over and resting his hands on his knees. "Oh it wasn't that bad! And if we're being honest, Lucky wouldn't go so fast if you didn't let go of his leash so much! He must think you want to play more! Try to hold on a little more!" said a happy Akiesh with a closed eyed smile as he patted the other boy's back.

Ty looked up at the smiling boy with a look of disbelief. "And be swept along the sidewalk? Standing in front of traffic during rush hour sounds more appealing than losing my pride!" he said, to which his brother and cousins all chuckled.
