"Don't you think you're being a bit too hard on Dazai-san?" Akiesh asked as he re-entered the auditorium with Ty, who placed his hand on the boy's shoulder.

"Now, my innocent little brother. Everyone knows that no one in their right minds would volunteer for a task like this and not expect there to be... compensation! Of sorts!"

"Tying the man to a flagpole is a bit much though!" Alex stated, to which a very uncomfortable Atsushi agreed. He, Dylan, Amire and Mira had stayed back to help with tidying the place up a bit. And knowing Ty, it was for the best that they left him be for this once!

"Hey. It was either there, or the cooling room." Ty said simply.

A laugh sounded at his words and everyone turned to find the principal and board members heading their way; with a very pleased looking Mori laughing away like there was no tommorow.

"Ahahaha! I like this one! He's definitely one of mine!" He said as they stood before the gathered students.

"Undoubtedly." Fukuzawa commented.

Clearing his throat, Taneda called for everyone's attention.

"Alright! It's been a long night for all of you! So, without delay, your names will be called under the faction you will be under! Thereafter, you will be escorted to your dorms! Now then,..."

...

A While Later

"We're in the same faction! Nice!" Alex and Akiesh cheered as they walked with Atsushi and the other new students.

They were being lead by Fukuzawa as Kunikida explained the rules of their dorm to them. On the way, Fukuzawa had ordered someone to take Dazai down from the pole, though to their surprise, the man was now reluctant to get down.

"Waaa!" The brown haired man complained.

"Now, now, Dazai-senpie! We couldn't let you stay there all night!" Akiesh said to him. "Besides! A bed is way more comfy!"

(The dorms)

Upon making it to the dorms, they were greeted by their 'dorm masters', who were also teachers. There was Ranpo-san, the English teacher, Dr. Yosano, the school nurse/physician. And of course Kunikida, the mathematics teacher.

"Now. Lights are out by 9:30 and you wake up at 6:00! Breakfast will be provided in the dorm chef and we eat together. Now get to... bed?" Kunikida ordered. However the newbies had beelined for their rooms long before he was even finished!

...

"Once again, I'd like to welcome you all to our humble abode!" Mori said as he lead his group of new students to their dorms.

From the dorm windows, a breathtaking view of the port and parts of the city could be seen.

Ty scoffed at the man's sugar coated words and earned a stab in the stomach from Amire's elbow.

"Hush up! I'm aware at how suspicious you are of this guy. But, like it or not, we're under his care." She whispered to him as he turned away.

"I know that! But he's one of the guys who agreed on that freaking crappy tradition! How can I not don't like him? And besides, the guy is sketchy AF! He'd be more likely to fit the role of a mafia boss than anyone else!" Ty whispered back. Amire held a small smile.

"He wouldn't be the first mad man we've survived." She said and the two went dead silent.

"Now, now! Why the cold silence?"
