"(y/n)!!!! Omg it's so nice to talk to you again!".
My friend from YEARS ago, the one who moved to America when we were 5, called me up. For no reason...
"Hey, Lauren. How's things?" I reply. She only ever calls when she wants a favour... She'll be asking anytime soon.
"Hey, so I was wondering" here we go.
"what do you want now!?" It's so irritating how selfish she has been.
"What? Oh. No, I don't need a favour, I just wanted to ask you... Well... Ever since that night, you've never been the same. And ya know, I feel like that house isn't doing you any good. And well, one of my dad's work apartments in Korea is about to go up for sale... And I wondered if you wanted it? Change of scenery, new people! It'd be great!"
"... W-wow. " I just manage to stammer." wow. Are you serious?! Come on Lauren, stop pulling my leg"
"Seriously!! It's fully furnished and everything. There is a pretty good school nearby too. It's in Seoul, so I hope you don't mind it. But, it's yours if you want!!"
"OMG thank you thank you thank you!!! When can I move?! I hope its soon"
"Well, my dad is still sorting a few stuff out, so maybe a couple of months? In the meantime, get practicing some Korean! And... Try and learn about the culture, they'd appreciate it there. Anyway, I have to go. Love ya!"
And with that, she ended the call.
Wow, omg I'm moving to Korea!!! It'll be an amazing experience and I will have a new start and be able to make new first impressions! I can't wait - I'd better start browsing for a Korean tutor.

Hey. So, if you've read the previous two parts before this was published, you might notice a change in the pronouns I was using. It was in second person, but now I'm changing it to first person, as I feel it makes the fan fiction more reader-related.
I know this was quite short, it's just I wanted to set the scene for the next chapter. (It'll be a few days before (y/n) leaves for Korea. I won't bore you with the middle bit. :)
