Note: this chapter takes place 5 years after the last chapter. You and Sehun have had lots of time to become closer than ever. You just came back from work and found a gorgeous dress and pair of shoes waiting for you on the bed, with a note reading "meet me in the park outside your favourite bubble tea shop at 19:00" you smile to yourself and put the dress on. You and Sehun have another date: the 4th this week...
Sehun's POV
I'm waiting here, roses in my hand, checking my watch every 3 seconds. Passers by stare at me. I guess I am pretty smartly dressed for a date at the park. But this is much more than that. They just don't know. I check my watch again. She's never late so I just have to be patient. I perch nervously at the edge of a wooden bench and wait.
5 minutes passed and I see her car silently drive into the car park and her lights go off. I'm too nervous to look, so I can just hear her heels clicking along the stone path.
"Sehun!" she says with such a sweet voice. She throws her arms around me and kisses my cheek. "this is such a lovely surprise!"
"I figured you deserved another date. Your colleague told me about the 17 cases you were working on today... Sounded pretty stressful!" I replied.
(y/n) spoke about work and then thanked me 500 Times for the dress. But I wasn't really paying that much attention. I was just so nervous. When do I ask...
(y/n) 's POV
" It's absolutely beautiful I honestly can't thank you enough! You're so sweet!" I look up at Sehun and he just nods. He seems really distant and it's strange.
"Sehunnie?" I turn his shoulders so he's facing me and I look deep into his eyes. I take his hands and they're so... Clammy. Its a cold night and we've known each other for such a long time. There is no need for him to be nervous.
"I-I'm fine. Hey, (y/n). Come with me for a second..."
He stood up and led me down the stone path towards the river. It's spring time and the sakura trees are so pink. It's beautiful! He stands me underneath one of them.
"Sehun... What's going on... ?"
As I look around, I can see him move from my periferal vision. I snap my head round to look at him. He's down on one knee.
"(y/n). Ever since we met... I knew you were perfect. That time on the plane when you rested your hear on my shoulder and slept. Its felt natural. As if we'd know each other since forever. Getting to know you over these past 6 years has made me realise something. It has made me realise... I love you. I love you so much and I want to make our love for each other completely official."
My heart is racing so much and tears gather in my eyes. I can see he is holding back tears too.
" so. (y/n). Will you marry me?" he pulled out a ring from his back pocket and slid it on my finger as I nodded vigorously. It was so beautiful and it symbolised such a beautiful thing. I coukd not be happier. Sehun pulled me into an embrace and we stood there for what felt like forever. It was just so amazing to be with the one person who I loved the most and who loved me the most.
