LAUREN'S POV
I'm a bit later than a week. I've been really busy with work. I was going to message (y/n) to tell her I'd be another couple of days, but when Kai told me what happened, I dropped everything and got on the first flight here. Now I'm running through the halls of the hospital, trying to work out where she is. I don't understand any Korean, so I can't read the signs. I see a nurse walk out a room carrying water and I stop her.
"(y/n) (l/n)??" and I shrugged my shoulders, hoping she'd make sense of it.
"Ah!!" she exclaimed, and pointed to the room next to the one she just left.
I thank her and rush to the door. I look through the small window and see an attractive Korean man sobbing. Am I too late? I slowly open the door, trying not to make too much noise, but enough to make him notice I'm here. As I turn the corner to face the bed, I see (y/n). She's not moving, but her eyes are open.
"Lauren!?" he exclaims.
"Y-yes? Um... She's okay?! I thought it wasn't likely that she would-"
"I know right!!! But I pray and pray. My perfume help too!"
He was so excited. I think he's Sehun. I can tell its not Kai and (y/n) hasn't mentioned any other names. He's more attractive that I expected, I must admit. But... He looks fami- OMG SEHUN. OH SE HUN. EXO'S MAKNAE. RAPPER AND SINGER. LEAD DANCER AND MAIN VISUAL. OH MY GOD. Lauren. Calm. Down. He doesn't need me fan-girling right now. Chill. My best friend almost died. He's stressed and tired and - and SEHUN!!!
I CAN'T STAY IN HERE. I need to CALM DOWN!!
"I-i- um... Give me a s-sec." I scuttle out the room and sit along the wall of the corridor. I can't believe it!!!!!!!!!!
And that means.... Kai... Kim Jong In... HE'S FROM EXO TOO!! HOW DID MY BEST FRIEND MEET THEM AND NOT KNOW! AHHH SHE'LL BE OVER THE MOON WHEN I TELL HER.
I'm kind of freaking out right now.
SEHUN'S POV
She knows who I am. Lauren knows. She had to stop herself from freaking out just then. I have to stop her from telling (y/n). If she knows I'm famous, she'll either not try to get to know me more and just like me because I have money and fame, which I highly doubt, or she won't want me because its too much. Which is probably the more likely of the two.
I kiss (y/n) in the forehead and her eyes sparkle. She drifts off to sleep and so I decide to go and sit next to Lauren. As I step outside, she looks at me, half terrified and half excited, her mouth in an 'o' shape.
"You might want to close your mouth." I laugh, and sit next to her. "You need to listen to me. Yes, I am Sehun from EXO. I know you've figured that out. But do not tell (y/n). At all. If she finds out, she'll leave me, probably. I want you to keep everything quite. I'm hoping to take her on a date when she's fully recovered. And I want that and many more. I hardly ever get the chance to find someone to be in a relationship with, so I beg you, don't ruin it for me." she just nods. I leave her as she is still in a state of shock. I sit in the chair in the corner of (y/n) 's room, and create a group voice chat on discord with the guys.
" WE ARE COMING OVER. RIGHT. NOW." I hear Kyungsoo scream.
" we can finally meet her! I appreciate she won't be as beautiful as the other night but..." that was Chen. I think he's got a bit of a thing for her too. Kai just stayed quiet and said nothing. Until, the very end of the call, he muttered "have fun guys." and left.
"Kai's been grumpy and depressed all day. Although we saw his face when you told us. He's now in tears - of joy. He's been muttering to himself all day about it being his fault and-"
"Tell him to come." I say.
"what?"
"tell him to get ready and come. I need him here. And all of you, be prepared, (y/n) 's best friend is an EXO-L"
I think today has been amazing. I'm so elated. And now I have my beautiful (y/n) back. I can't wait for what the future has to offer.
