A stone in the middle of a bunch of gold
Is what I am feeling, though seen bold
Inside I shiver in a never ending cold
Like a little child, I am frightened grasping for a hold
I breathe heavily from a very long run
My skin is tanned from the burning sun
Upon all the races, this is the longest one
I tried so hard, but the chances are none
Hiding my face in every encounter
This rapid beating I can not ponder
Is it shame I ask and wonder
But I know it is not, cause you're not like no other
Never felt so useless in my life
Like digging a hole inside my chest
Continuously it is stabbed with a knife
I gave my best, but still, I am a pest
A prisoner chained inside a cell
Ferment my coldness in this scorching hell
Though the keys are in my hand, I know to well
I can not break free, trapped, to the deepest I fell
And I wish for the rain to fall
Pour it on and let them see
However, I am too afraid to bear my all
To show the world how cowardly I can be
Fragile as a glass dropped from a height
Broken are my molded might
Pieces are left from the lost fight
I try my best to be alright
Find me, free me, run to my rescue
Seek without the call of suffering virtue
For the voice is held inside, far from view
But please do approach, it has to be you
I call upon all the saints
Gods and beings without taint
