Note: Hello. School will be starting tomorrow for me and I have ideas for two other stories. I'm gonna be starting a schedule which will be in my bio. I'll also be putting out the first chapters of those new stories today or tomorrow. Thank you and enjoy.

The air was cold and made his place skin turn red on his cheeks and nose. Keith sat beside Pidge on a bench.on the edge of the skating rink. Pidge was reading peacefully and Kieth watched Lance and Hunk as they messed around on the ice, talking and laughing with each other. Keith had layered himself under a t shirt, a sweater, a big winter coat, and a scarf. He wasn't used to the cold, to say the least.

Pidge glanced sideways at him, narrowing her eyes. She didn't know Keith well, but they had still talked. He seemed like a nice person, just a little aggressive and secretive.

"You wanna go grab hot chocolate? There's a little place down the street," She asked, drawing Keith's attention. He looked at her as if he had just noticed her.

"Oh, sure," he stood and they started walking "should we grab something for them?" He pointed with his thumb at the two boys in the ice. Pidge nodded and they walked off, chatting lightly with each other.

Lance watched as Pidge and Keith walked down the street, probably to get some of Pidge's favorite drink.

"And she was like 'woah dude, slow down there!' And I did, because I respect her. But students should be allowed to run in the halls! Some of us have classes on opposite sides of the building and two minutes is not enough time to get there!" Hunk was saying. Lance looked at him, forcing a smile at the funny story.

"Hey, Hunk," Lance said quietly "do you ever think you'll find like the one person who completely understands you and loves you?" He asked, hoping it wouldn't be weird.

"I mean, I'd like to hope so," Hunk said, shrugging, "I think Rommelle's nice and she gets me and thinks I'm funny. But it's high school. This is your time to be free from the chains of society," Hunk said, smiling slightly. "Why do you ask?"

"No reason. Any ways, do you think they'll get us drinks?" Lance nodded his chin to where Keith and Pidge had sat before.

"Probably not, unless Keith is nicer then Lance. It's funny how every time she 'forgets' to get us drinks," he made air quotes with his hands, even though there was humor in his eyes.

"Keith is nice. Maybe he'll convince her, but she'll make him carry the drinks." Lance laughed quietly.

"Yeah, probably." Hunk laughed with him. There was a beat of comfortable silence. They could talk just as easily as they could let quiet fall like a warm blanket over them. "I just thought about how weird that night was."

"Yeah," Lance agreed, knowing which night he meant "I can't believe Griffin and them got away. Hopefully something will be done. He can't hide his broken nose," Lance said, turning and skating backwards so he could look and Hunk while they talked.

"I'm sure it'll be taken care of once Keith gets back. It has to be." Hunk frowned.

"I'm not so sure. Griffin was probably sent by Lotor. Lotor can and has gotten away with everything," Lance sounded doubtful. His voice couldn't hide his true feelings. That wasn't a skill he had like Pidge. She could trick anyone in to thinking what she wanted them to think.

"If it isn't taken care of, we can boycott the school. Get some of the other kids lower on the food chain to help us." Hunk suggested, half heartedly.
